Hi. I’m not a metal guy. That said, both amps sounded great and great playing also. I prefer the Laney on this demo. I think it’s about the mids, maybe the way you eqed them. I hear the Laney thiker on the low mids and I like that more. I don’t know if you had the fat switch engaged on the jsx. The jsx felt more scooped compared to the Laney. I think that can be addressed with the mid knob because I have a Jsx and I know that but the way they were dialed for this video I prefer the Laney sound.

Of all the Laney Ironheart shootouts, these two amps are the most closely matched. Both are awesome amps - JSX barely edges out the win. 🥇
