@@detroitspeed I looked at my 2000 Camaro this morning. It doesn't appear to have those two holes in the sheet metal. That in itself isn't a major issue, but the metal tab the fender is bolted to, is pretty twisted up.
You make cool, innovative, necessary products but charge double what most people would consider a reasonable price for it. Made in America costs more, we’re all aware, but there’s still a limit to what that’s worth and your product pricing is usually well beyond that limit. The people who buy and own these cars aren’t top 1%-ers. Like $500 for a universal windshield wiper motor...
I know this video is old and just came across my video feed,, but you guys are out of your mind charging $125.00 for this crazy I bet these are flying off the shelves (not) .. you guys make great stuff but man your pricing is just crazy ... I looked into your stuff a while ago for my 4th gen f-body .. and when you add up all the basic suspension parts and prices it does not make sense because if I was willing to spend the money to upgrade I might as well just spend the money to buy a better platform car (like a Vette or something like that and start there)
@@detroitspeed whenever you would like to send parts my way I would be happy to explore them ... the green bean protect Camaro could use some help on the channel ? Just throwing it out there .....
That Sunset Orange Metallic is money
It sure is!
Can these now be used as jack points?
where can I find the 3/8 drive 1/4 inch 20 tap? Everywhere I search is the standard tap (not one in a 3/8 drive socket.
I've been thinking for years how to address this issue. That's a perfect solution to protect that fender flange from careless mechanics.
Give us a call and get yourself a set! They really are useful.

@@MichaelWRutherford You could always drill the holes out for the 1/4-20 tap. If the mouting tab is mangled, this kit is for you!
@@detroitspeed I was wrong. They are there. I just couldn't feel them with my finger.
@@MichaelWRutherford Gotcha, that will make the job easier then.
@Detroit Speed Left or right hand tap threader
Will you be making these for the third gen f body?
As of right now there are no plans for 3rd Gen.
Sorry man, gotta buy a 4th gen
Red or blue loctite?
lol none
Could these be used as a jack/lift points?
@Outlaw I’m trying to figure that out also..
hell yeah ,,, tire shops FK this spot up all the time ..I always have to make sure they know where and not to jack it from lol
Can you get it without hardware? Idk what id do with 8 sae bolts on a metric car.
This kit is only available with hardware included.

It's a fair price. Lots of welds, it's not just a square piece. Bring it to an autobody shop and ask what they would charge for something similar.

@@detroitspeed I think this product should cost about $60 max, $125 I think Is just too much
$125 plus shipping!!! WTF.
typical Fbody owners, this is why most of yalls cars look like ragged out junk, wont spend any money.
That nothing 😂 wait till u start looking at real go fast parts.
@@RevolutionMuscle its not the point that's not the worth 125.00
