I am actually trying your keychain wristlet with extra Burnette, blanket yarn I had leftover from when I made loom knit blanket. It took a while, but I finally got the stitch down though. I think I hold it too tight because I can’t do it one handed like you’re doing in this video I have to use my fingers to get the loops through.

I love your channel and your enthusiasm for yarn and crochet. I watch you all the time. The one thing I wish i could be able to do is using the bernat yarns but I find it hard to find soft yarn since i am allergic to polyester.
I'm using yarnsprations ogo but because I'm in Australia I get an 150g ball of wool for 3 dollars in spotlight which for an adult beanie needs one ball if you come to Australia come to a sale and you can get balls of nice wool for like 1-2 dollars but there is still the 30 dollar balls and 20 dollar balls but I'm 13 so I stick to a cheap stuff😆
@@camryns_cute_creations with the thicker yarn I make small rugs and mats there pretty quick and I only sell them online with softer yarn I make tops beanies bucket hats jumpers socks gloves and a little bit of amagrumi I think that's how you spell it and headbands and random stuff I find patterns online for free😆

What pattern did you use for the hat with the bear ears on it? Does it use half double crochet slip stitch like your other beanies? I made a hat recently using regular half double crochet with Bernat Blanket and I'm not liking the holes in it - it really needs to be a closer knit.
The bear beanie pattern I use is from Crochet Dreamz! Here's a link for their pattern: crochetdreamz.com/crochet-baby-hat/ The bear beanie pattern uses a single crochet, and I've found that there's not a lot of gaps! You could also consider sizing down a hook size to solve that problem, as well!

Hey there! The best advice I can give is to ask yourself these three things: Can my customer use it? Can my customer wear it? Can my customer gift it? If it hits at least one, then that's a good idea for a product! If it can hit all three, then that's a great idea! So, things like beanies, gloves, scarves, etc. are all good options. Ultimately, though, I would ask yourself: what do I LIKE to make? That should be your starting point!

A crochet podcast would be so fun!! I mostly use Marvel 4 Seasons Acrylic yarn because I make more detailed Amigurumi, though I love trying different soft, cozy yarns. Also I worked on a lil' froggo, a lobster and a granny square bag with puff stitch flowers while crocheting along! 💙💙💙
honestly... i enjoyed this video way more than i thought i would LOL I was like girl, i already know your fave yarn! XD but I obviously love talking about yarn because this was so much fun hahaha I recently used the hometown one, and I didn't like it :/ alllll the fuzz comes out and makes the project look super messy. waste of money. Also, have you felt the Michaels brand, sweet snugglers lite? The texture feels very similar to Bernat Velvet, but i personally think it's WAY softer. BUT!!! it sheds SOOOOOO MUCH! I thought the bernat velvet shed alot. Not.Even.Compared to sweet snugglers. Not my fave LOL

My favorite yarn is ILTY by Hobby Lobby. I've made amigurumi, blankets, scarves, and hats with that yarn. It has never failed me. And the price point is perfect for me. Joann's never has any yarn, always empty shelves, mand Michael's doesn't have anything I like. I'm very textural and need to feel the yarn before I buy. I'm newish to crochet, so I'm always looking for new stitches. I never crocheted amigurumi plushy, so I might try to buy a skein of yarn and make one. I'm working on a temperature blanket, just finished a granny square toddler purse, just finished 104 daisy granny squares for a blanket that i need to join amd looking for a new project with ombre yarn.

I love the velvet too! I do find that it snags too easily though. I use the fleece on studies. I bought a lot on clearance, and now people want items made with it, and I can no longer find that yarn😳. I lost my crojo for a bit, and had to find some fun, small things to make just to get back into the groove.

I've used a lot of red heart super saver. It's the yarn I started crocheting with as it's what was given to my family. But as I've explored more into the crochet world I've started loving most of the bulky weight yarns. I've mostly used mainstays from Walmart but have also found big twist in Joann's clearance section. I've also done a lot with peaches &creme cotton yarn and love making a variety of items with it.

I always suggest washing before selling anything wearable! But it really just depends too :)

I always suggest to customers to hand wash to get the longest use out of their items but I’ve machine washed before and it’s totally okay:)

Hey there! The best advice I can give is to ask yourself these three things: Can my customer use it? Can my customer wear it? Can my customer gift it?
If it hits at least one, then that's a good idea for a product! If it can hit all three, then that's a great idea! So, things like beanies, gloves, scarves, etc. are all good options.
Ultimately, though, I would ask yourself: what do I LIKE to make? That should be your starting point!

Absolutely! They are certainly more popular for girls (especially the pink!), but there are many who buy for boys, too! The most popular colors for boys tend to be blues and greens! 😁😊

A crochet podcast would be so fun!! I mostly use Marvel 4 Seasons Acrylic yarn because I make more detailed Amigurumi, though I love trying different soft, cozy yarns. Also I worked on a lil' froggo, a lobster and a granny square bag with puff stitch flowers while crocheting along! 💙💙💙

I recently used the hometown one, and I didn't like it :/ alllll the fuzz comes out and makes the project look super messy. waste of money.
Also, have you felt the Michaels brand, sweet snugglers lite? The texture feels very similar to Bernat Velvet, but i personally think it's WAY softer. BUT!!! it sheds SOOOOOO MUCH! I thought the bernat velvet shed alot. Not.Even.Compared to sweet snugglers. Not my fave LOL

I have tried it! But it doesn't work so well :( It tends to worm and ruin the velvet yarn!
My favorite yarn is ILTY by Hobby Lobby. I've made amigurumi, blankets, scarves, and hats with that yarn. It has never failed me. And the price point is perfect for me.
Joann's never has any yarn, always empty shelves, mand Michael's doesn't have anything I like. I'm very textural and need to feel the yarn before I buy. I'm newish to crochet, so I'm always looking for new stitches. I never crocheted amigurumi plushy, so I might try to buy a skein of yarn and make one. I'm working on a temperature blanket, just finished a granny square toddler purse, just finished 104 daisy granny squares for a blanket that i need to join amd looking for a new project with ombre yarn.
I am working on a broomstick lace shawl.😊

I love the velvet too! I do find that it snags too easily though. I use the fleece on studies. I bought a lot on clearance, and now people want items made with it, and I can no longer find that yarn😳. I lost my crojo for a bit, and had to find some fun, small things to make just to get back into the groove.

Love the cozy vibe. I’m working on an amigurumi owl, with Bernat Baby blanket yarn 😂 I just found out today one of my coworkers birthday is on the 10th, and I wanted to make her something. She recently got a shoulder sleeve tattoo of a family of owls (representing her family) so I think it will be well received. 🤞🏻

I've used a lot of red heart super saver. It's the yarn I started crocheting with as it's what was given to my family. But as I've explored more into the crochet world I've started loving most of the bulky weight yarns. I've mostly used mainstays from Walmart but have also found big twist in Joann's clearance section. I've also done a lot with peaches &creme cotton yarn and love making a variety of items with it.
The bigger, chunkier yarn is so fun to work with! I'm so glad you're exploring with crochet! Never hesitate to ask any questions! 😁😊
