Just a little word of encouragement about selling blankets at craft shows - I made up a chunky lap throw and took it to a market about 3 weeks before Christmas last year. This was the very first market I took it to and someone walked right over to it, picked it up, and purchased it for $150. That being said, I’ve had a baby blanket in my inventory for about a year that still hasn’t sold 😅 I think the type of yarn and season of the market are two huge factors to consider if you make blankets for shows!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! I agree that bigger items like blankets are more of a waiting game, as the right person has to come along at the right time, with the right materials being used! Of course, the skill and materials put into the blanket make a difference, but they don't sell as frequently! It's awesome that someone came up right away and picked up your! :) That's such a good feeling!
Camryn, I just wanted to give you many thanks for being so inspiring and motivating! I had my first ever craft fair last week and it was a huge success! I honestly believe that it’s thanks to your tips and suggestions that I followed. Keep doing what you are doing because you are a true blessing to handmade artists!
Hi Miss Crafty. I crocheted the white Lion Brand Wool Ease popcorn pumpkin. I choose the cream colour that has a gold thread running thru it. I could not stop just making one, so I've made many more. They are just adorable, in different sizes. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas.
I fully agree with the blankets drawing people in tip! So many people stop to look at/feel mine. Also for anyone wanting to sell them for more: I’ve sold chunky throws (wool ease thick and quick, 50”x60”) for $250 at craft markets so the high price point can be done! Just happens very very rarely 😂 it’s all about finding the right shows and the right customers
Oh my gosh, you've made my day! :) I'm glad you've loved it! And I'm so excited for your first fall markets!! Is there anything new to your inventory that you're excited to sell? :)
I love your blooper. “Popcorn stitch pumpkin pattern” is a mouth full! Thanks for sharing. I’m making elephants right now, next in line are the popcorn stitch pumpkins using your pattern ❤️🧶
Definitely looking for a nice pattern for velvet headbands and Wool Ease Thick N Quick. Thanks Camryn, love watching you and learning so much! Keep up the great work!
Great ideas😊 I make a lot of animal hats and I sometimes make matching coffee cozies to go with the hats. And I’m working on a few pumpkin from your pattern. Thanks for sharing! -Charis
Such a great video, thank you as always for sharing! You have such amazing energy and enthusiasm!! I love watching your videos, and look forward to watching them each week!
That is one of my favorite yarns! The beanie pattern she has linked in her free patterns is great and works up crazy fast. It’s the 30 min or less beanie. I also use it for booties, amigurumi, and pumpkins. Such a versatile yarn!
The forever fleece yarn is perfect for little booties like this pattern from Croby Patterns!: crobypatterns.com/crochet-baby-booties-in-15-minutes-or-less/
I’m getting ready for my first market and this was really inspiring! I’ve been thinking about making a chunky blanket, but I’m not sure I have the time 😢 you should definitely release the boot cuffs pattern!
Thank you-I love getting display ideas which are vital if you are going to do craft fairs! I would love a baby blanket pattern -especially for the forever fleece yarn. Please keep going with the different ways to display and color choices videos. ( so fun!)
I will buy any pattern you put out there! I use your pumpkin patterns and I bought your velvet beanie pattern and everything is amazing. That being said I so badly want your headband pattern but again I will buy any pattern you write up 😊
That is such a wonderful product to draw people in! I recommend everyone have some flashier, higher-priced items to grab people's attention! Thanks for sharing :)
I think that's a great idea! Perhaps for some videos, I could have a camera just on my hands! I definitely have some videos planned in the future, and I'll make sure to add some re-uploads of patterns where I clearly show what I'm doing :) Thanks for the feedback!
I’d love to know exactly which yarn you used for those Addi machine (sentro?) beanies in the video. I just got a sentro and have been experimenting with yarns I have on hand. Some are great. Some are awful. And it’s weird because they seem like almost the exact same yarns!

I live up in eastern Washington :) The culture here is definitely a little more rural and outdoorsy, and it gets super cold super quick in the Fall! I think those are definitely some contributing factors to my beanies being in high demand!
I'm having trouble with head sizes for hats at least. Especially the skull cap hats... where there isn't always a lot of room between the top of the hat and the top of the wearer's head What are you doing for actual circumference and profile sizes (lengths) for your hats? I've seen a lot of different sizes, but the profile size is especially important for the skull cap hats... :/
Alright, let's settle the debate: Are you already embracing the Fall vibes or are you trying to hold onto those last bits of summer? ⬇
Fall is my favorite! Bring it on 🥰🥰
i’m excited to make some beanies this fall! i’m working on a cardigan right now tho
I am making pumpkins!😊
bye bye summer! its pretty much been rain all summer here, im ready for the cooler weather.
Normally I am a summer ride or die… but this summer… WHEW! I have to switch teams 😂😂 it’s been too hot and I cannot anymore.

I have been looking for a pattern for a "lumpy" gourd, so taller than the pumpkin. Making that in variegated green/orange/yellow yarn would be cute!
That does sound so cute! I'll have to search, too, or maybe even edit a pumpkin pattern to try and make it! :)
Camryn you are adorable and so helpful! Please share your pattern for your blanket and your headbands!
Those patterns are coming in the future! :) ❤️

Because I don’t want to make huge baby blankets

I do usually use poms! Sometimes I offer a style without them, but generally yes!
