We have one of these mounted about 10 feet off the ground on the roof of our local highschool. They took the horns off it because it was too loud. They use it instead of fire alarms. So if you pull a pull station the siren goes off in hi lo until it is reset. It not only tell s the kids to evacuate but it calls in the fire department as well.
This one looks like the British sirens with its outer casing and trumpets removed, and lying on its side. I think these ones look better though when complete.

You can see how strong the RPM on the siren is just by the truck shaking.

If you put the shutter on the other side and mount it to a pole then it would be the cs8 siren

If this siren is in a trailer it means that they have dismantled it?
The other shutter and the horn couldn't fit inside so they took it apart
They are at sirencon usually sirens are dismantled for easy transportation
