Just for info,....SOU 3819 was held captive in McDonnough, GA at the NS training center (we called it Choo Choo U ) way past the time that all other B boats were off the roster. It was there when I went to engineers school in 1996. I may have color slides of it, but I would have to dig really deep. The engines at McDonnough were used strictly for training.
Shut Up And Take My Money, Jason! Also a few of my main freight train (Static setup) got damaged in my move and ruined, so I figured I'd replace one of them with some Rapido freight cars. I can't help it. I've fallen in love with Rapido since my very first purchase which was the wave 1 GN Big Sky Blue Baggage Express Car (Converted to run on 3 axle trucks like the protoype). I'm so excited to get my Penn Central/CR Flexi-Flow hopper when it comes out.
EXCELLENT job on the Horizon cars, but can we PLEASE get some MARC, Shore Line East, CT Rail & VRE cars in the very near future as well pretty please....
Terrific stuff. You guys really do great stuff. As an avid Amtrak modeller, I look forward to the Horizon cars. Any other Amtrak cars planned for "down the track"??
@@rapidotrains LOL 😂 where do I sign? Maybe it's just me... but it kinda sounded like Josh was hinting at Superliners when he was describing the trucks.... 😉
Is the EMD SW1200 available in C&NW colors. I see one in the pictures on the web site but the road name isn't listed. I'm considering building a layout based on the CNW K-D line estern end circa 1975. This will allow some passenger service from the Kenosha Station and alot of industrial switching* plus putting together locals at the Kenosha yard. Plus through frieghts north out of Proviso and south from Milwaukee *Major industrial switching would be the AMC Main Plant (castings, rolled sheet steel, variouscar parts and steel bar stock in. Metal chips, scrap castings, nailed scrap sheet metal and finished rear ends out. Plus various machine tool loads in) plus with a little creative license American Brass (raw copper and zinc in. Copper Sheet and copper and brass tube and castings out)
The classic Walthers Horizon Coach really let me down for how limited it was as a model, these Horizons look MUCH more promising. Can't wait to complete my Wolverine set!
Any updates on why the RS-11 delivery date was pushed back by about two months? Only found out about the change through your website as opposed to the usual outlets
We have to test them extensively to ensure that the motors do not get damaged by the decoder file. They should be send to stores next month. January is the latest.
All 225 American Car And Foundry Flexi Flo Cars were built for one Customer The New York Central Railroad authorized by Alfred E. Perlman. Upon the Demise of The PennCentral Transportation Company many car were sold off to leasing companies and other railroads. Most of them are still in service today. That says a lot about the quality of the construction of these cars.
I watch all the videos and love them. I have no railroad and am just getting back into the hobby. I will be n scale, but I like the bulk of your products simply from a "They are so f@#$ing good perspective." and enjoy at that level. Previously, I complimented the Hudson model, but it's really not my thing. Yet! I find I can get it in the UK still. It is an arm, not an arm and a leg! I am now twitching over a completely inappropriate purchase and bothering about small n scale money! Decisions, decisions! Yours in a pickle 😀. Regards Stephen.
Everything looks good, but the rivet counters are gonna rip y’all apart on the SP light package. There’s no reason a super thin pcb with smd leds can’t be made. And lens size shouldn’t be an issue either. If I was going to buy one. I would replace that light package with a brass part and paint it, details west lenses, and Evans designs leds. Then again, I don’t know what restrictions the manufacturing process may have. I love everything else though.
Assimilate or be assimilated. Buy Rapido or we will Force you to buy rapido. If you have bought Rapido. Buy more Rapido. B36-7 is the only locomotive you need. Southern version is the best version. But buy SW1200.
rapidotrains the borg and cyber men agree that resistance is futile, and that Rapido is the greatest manufacture of model trains. Also I want to visit your HQ one day. I will deliver Jason the CNR NF 210 in HOn3. That is what the orders are.
As ALWAYS Rapido, Your highly impressive details on the Horizon passenger cars is "par none". The only thing that comes close was Walthers last Proto runs. HOWEVER WITH THAT SAID, I noticed in the video it seems like the diaphragm's are solid & molded on? NNOOOO !! Please for the love of God, if so go back the drawing Board even borrow (or steal) walthers proto's design and have some working yet close coupling diaphragms. That's the one thing in my opinion that takes away from any HO passenger cars models realism , its a horrid look when there's this huge gap where the diaphragms don't even seem to come close to each other. I already pre-ordered 10 horizon coaches it would be disappointing if this one error takes away from its realism. I didn't fault you on the first run of LRC cars ( learning curve) as I've macgyvered new diaphragms on my fleet that somewhat look realistic and can take a 30" radius and above curve without a huge gap. I've actually also pre-orderd 6 of your second runs and hope that the new design has corrected that issue as well. DON'T LET ME DOWN RAPIDO !
The amount of details amazes me on the locomotives and rolling stock, 10/10 @Rapido
Thanks!!!
I can't wait until the horizon coaches come out. I'm gonna get some for my ho scale Amtrak Missouri River Runner.
Great!
I am looking forward to picking up some of those flexi flo hoppers, tom.
They won't be too far off now, production has started!
You guys must come out with the NSC articulated 40' 5 unit and 53' 3 unit well cars. Walters has the early draw bar and single versions.
With the B36-7, the SW1200 and Flexi Flo you guys are making it really hard for me to stick with N scale!
Top notch work!
Thanks! And please feel free to join the Dark Side! 😁
Cant wait to pick a few sets of the MBTA horizon coaches!
Great!
I see you're doing the Soo Line's ex-MN&S SW-1200s...love to see you do the original MN&S units with a correct Hancock air whistle!
The detail looks incredible
Thanks!

Neat!
Rapido detail is close to perfect as is possible. 👍
Thanks a lot!
At least Jordan is on a Bombardier airplane.... awesome stuff guys. Loving my B36-7
De Havilland, but who's counting? 😁
Hi John, lol
Love the look of the flex flo hoppers! Great detail, well executed, can’t wait to see finished liveries.😎👍🇦🇺Ozzy fanboy!
Thanks!

Beauty! Thanks for your support! And Jason did not appear anywhere in this video... but we'll pass on your regards! 😆
I preordered 12 Horizon cars. I can't wait to get them!
Do the washboard emus of the new haven and hartford railroad.
Maybe...😃
EXCELLENT job on the Horizon cars, but can we PLEASE get some MARC, Shore Line East, CT Rail & VRE cars in the very near future as well pretty please....
We'll get there eventually...
The flexi-flo hoppers are insane.
Thanks! We are also insane, but of a different kind... 😆
4:17-4:22 train horn background... nice special effects!
It's the mainline behind our office.... 😁
Very very nice guys !!🔥🔥🔥
Thanks!
"One Jordan was harmed in the making of this video." You had me dying laughing! Keep it up!
Happy to oblige! 😁

You're right - it's missing from the list, and we'll fix that. But you can see it here: rapidotrains.com/content/ho-scale-emd-sw1200-us-orders

Was that a real loco horn at 4:17 or a model? Awesome models.
Our office backs onto the CN York Subdivision. The video was filmed hours before CN went on strike...
It was to show appreciation for that sweet looking Southern Pacific SW1200!
Going to double my order, awesome
Will you guys make some n scale horizon cars? I would like to get some for my River Runner.😊
You mean these? rapidotrains.com/products/n-scale/passenger-cars/n-scale-horizon-coaches
Still holding out hope somebody ends up doing an Alco s6. So many switchers have been made in HO plastic. But no s6 yet 😕
Maybe one day...
will u be doing the new via locomotives ?
Hopefully!
Was meaning the Flexi flow
Beauty! Thanks a lot!
Will y’all review the comet when you get the samples?
Of course!
rapidotrains awesome!
When are those comet cars are coming out?
The order desk is still open. It will likely be late this year before they come out.
Will the SP SW-1200 version come unpainted ? Like the ACF flexi Flo hopper too. Still, I ask. Will you please consider HO Alco C-415 at some point ?
We almost always offer undecorated versions of our models. Check our web site.
Do the ends of the axle spin on the outside of the truck?
On the switcher, yes.

great video lots of stuff to look forward to .....can I ask has Jordan been cloned ??? or is it his brother ? Disappointed no bananas were involved !
Jordan/Josh. Josh/Jordan. Same stuff, different day.... 😆
I heard a hint that superliners are a possibility down the road?
We know nothing.
@@rapidotrains Right...
Will the covered hoppers have stratolights?
Everything should have a Stratolite! 😆
Pretty awesome video
Thanks!
I can't be he only one who feels like Jordan whenever I'm on a Dash 8 or a CRJ.
It's so squishy!
Nice!
Thanks!
CB&Q and NP SW1200s? Please be gentle releasing them in BN. (I have a BN ex-GN on order)

Man I wish all passenger cars came with marker lights in them
Most of ours do. If they are built-in lights, they work. It's too hard to make the removable lights work without making them vastly oversize.

As we often have to explain to our fellow modellers, there is a big difference between what you can do in your workshop and what can be mass produced.
