I love the RS6, a dream car of mine. I tell people 70% is a good film, you don't have to go crazy dark with windshields. I like to do 65% with just a little pinch of color but you can't go wrong. It looks really good.
Very helpful video, thanks for making it! I'm considering a 70% front windshield tint. Do you feel like with the 70%, I would no longer need to wear my sunglasses while driving? The glare from the lights tend to bother me, and I'm hoping 70% reduces that significantly
Guys if you live in a state that doesnt allow windshield tint nobody is gonna pull you over for 70% windshield tint. Not only is that beyond petty but 70% looks as if it is factory tint. No patrol cop or state trooper is gonna be able to tell from a distance in their car or motorcycle even close up that you tinted your car. They would literally have to have in their minds that they are gonna pull over someone for windshield tint today and even then they would just be guessing. Because 70% basically just looks like saran wrap. Ive been driving for over 15years always with 70% windshield tint and never been stopped in the state of texas which allows 0 windshield tint and only allows a visor. In fact ive been pulled over maybe 5 times in those years for other things and no cop even being super close up to my vehicle has ever mentioned my windshield tints.
@jl-zz9zs Texas allows a visor to be tinted 25% which is only up to a quarter of the top of the windshield. The actual windshield itself cant be tinted unless you use completely clear film which defeats the purpose of tinting your windshield in the first place. Im saying if you want to tint your windshield tint it 70% because its not going to attract attention at all
Yeah my 02 Acura had oem tint in the front and I didn’t know it helps and looks good when I got my 2022 Honda. Tht is like a fishbowl and I don’t like it so hopefully 70% will help with privacy and heat
Hmm. Considering this. I already have 5 percent all around. So hopefully it's not an issue at night more than it already is. Anyone else got 5 percent all around with 70 percent windshield?
I used who the dealer uses, sorry I can't remember the name and although they did an OK job, there were a few imperfections so probably wouldn't recommend
@@extrabolts another tip to add to that if you see cops parked speed trapping city or highway especially when it’s the end of the month trying to meet quotas just roll them down even slightly and if not the sunroof will make the difference like he mentioned.
It does make a difference! Remember this car also has a feature to keep AC running after you turn it off, so if you run into a store you can come back to it cool
Hi Can you please make another video about your exhaust upgrade, a bit more clips inside and outside in comfort and dynamic so i can get a better understanding of the sound because i wonder If i am going to make the same mod but i dont want to jepordize the comfort. And also share your opinion now a half year later when you have been driving with it. So a bit further review of the exhaust mod would be awesome! Thanks
Hi. I recently purchased rs6 and got a question. I did 20% tint side and rear and it makes light refections around defroster lines after tint. Does yours have the same problem? If not what brand tint did you use?? Thank you
I have 50 on my truck. Personally I don’t think it is that dark from the outside. Windshield tint is SUPER dependent on what you have on the rest of your windows. I run 50/30/17 over 20 for the rears. Personally I think this is the perfect set up to run a 50% windshield. Although I am considering doing a 70/20/5 on my Impala instead just to see how it looks.
50% but it starts messing with the visibility and it depends on your eyes too since some people claim they can see fine and other do notice a difference
You can definitely still see in the front easily. Keep in mind the percent on tint is the amount of light let in, so a higher percent means more light in and out. This is a very light tint on the windshield mostly for heat reduction

Have you gotten pulled over for it yet?

It's always so cool to me how the outside tint really doesn't make that much of a difference. I hope you keep upgrading the car!
I did 70 percent as well. Thanks for the video 👍🏿
Do you notice better driving at night with glare from oncoming traffic n street lights?
Love the car and the channel. This was the first video I watched and I will definitely be sticking around. I can't wait to see more!
Do you think it darkened the driver & passenger side windows a lil bit?
Can you still install the radar detector or any suction cup mount onto the tinted windshield without having issues ? Would it lift the tint ?
Yes my radar detector has stuck without issue

If it’s a nano ceramic tint it will indeed help with glare no sunglasses I also have a 5% tint strip at the top
I’m going 70%, no need to risk my life and others.

Texas allows 70 on the windshield.

@Nathan Sloan ok and this is in Georgia right?

70 shouldn’t be dark. I did get pulled over in Georgia for 50% but I had 5% sides as well
One thing these Audi’s miss out on.. eye brows tint.
