- Parts for this BIMMER are just flowing in!! Yes its expensive to repair, but I'm doing this because I love these sick bikes. I love getting down to the bare bones of these machines that and seeing how they are built. Most importantly I love riding them. Lots to Learn, Lots to enjoy, thanks for watching!!

you must to replace the wiring harness, the twisted wires are canbus wires. later can cause diagnostic / function problems. if you want the best possible results pick up a good undamaged harness🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻 and dont forget the motor lift

However, I have a small suggestion: consider designing a frame to stabilize the front part of the bike, while using a motorcycle front stand to support the balance of the rear part. This frame would replace the wooden blocks you currently use under the engine block, providing a safer solution for you. Wishing you all the best and continued success!

You don’t need the big Allen wrench for the front axle. You can just use the pinch bolts. It does help to have the tool but it’s not necessary.

Love your videos but I just can't imagine how it is economically viable considering the initial purchase price of the bike + the parts or assembly you buy to replace the damaged ones without attempting to repair them.
Few years ago my insurance had to pay close to half of the MSRP of my MT09 just to replace a swingarm and few cosmetics parts damaged in an accident.
Invest in a Bursig center stand. Will make life a lot easier. Plus, it obvious money isn’t the concern in these rebuilds. Where in WI ru based?

One Thing through, how do you check the alingment of the frames? Havent seen Any footage of how you assure the intregrity of the frame.
The Damage on the BMW front fork was substantial..

Thank you Michael! I don't have a local shop or any methods myself on checking the alignments on these frames. That is something I should look into for the future.
Currently I'm just using my best judgment and my eye balls to assess the damage and make a call based on what I can see. From what I've read, These frames are very tough and can handle a lot before shifting.
Yeah it was unfortunate that the forks had damage, they were pricey but they needed replacement.

The black substance apparently used to eliminate the bare copper wire showing, can you provide the particulars for that mystery goooo?
😂 it's liquid electrical tape, once applied it dries sealing off the exposed copper area!

Hey dean, so I purchase these bikes from salvage yards that sell automobiles or motorcycles that have been wrecked. In the states here we have multiple salavage yards in every state so lots of places to chose cars and bikes from of all shapes and sizes

I’ve been doing Copart shenanigans for a while but never with bikes, how well does a rebuilt/salvage title bike sell?
Its pretty horrible! honestly almost everyone doesn't trust a rebuilt title on a motorcycle which is 10x more dangerous, I hope to show people the structural integrity of these beasts through these videos.

From my understanding the insurance is the same on a clean title bike to a slavage title bike.

What did you use to solder the wires?
Hi Kay! It's a soder and heat shrink tube that once heated up heats the sodder hot enough and the heat shrink in one go
man it's really worth it ? bc a brand new it's 21K ... so i don't know realy well how much u pay that . but add these part u pay ( and don't do yourself ) usure or you're tool and time spending on that . and after that u need to be expertise before use them ...
