- So backstory here. This bike was on (minimum bid)(Meaning the seller could not except the highest bid) thus being put on the auction for another week, then with 1 day left the bike changed to (Pure sale)(Meaning the biek will sell no matter what the highest bid is. I only had the day to bid and pick up the bike so I decided to head up to the auction place before the online bidding so I could pick up the bike right after the online bidding, and make it home at a reasonable time. I didn't know how many or who was gunna be bidding on this bike, so my trip up the auction was kind of hoping that the bike wasn't going to sell for too much! Turns out the bike sold for decent and BAM here I am with a 2021 BMW S1000RR M , loaded to the max from the factory and the previous owner! This is gunna be wicked! Thanks for watching!

Yes, but I don't think the impact of the crash was on the wheels, more like it slid and then rolled over a bunch, keeping the wheels in tack and not cracked.
That bike needs a lot of work, over 10K for a bike in that condition? Kinda ridiculous if you ask me...... especially with that frame being damaged like that, and with the sliders being bent so extreme, I would be very wary of stress crack fractures.
Yeah, it's what I expected and I don't regret it, the bikes is a dream bike for me! Worth it everyday. Also Very tru tony, I assume that bolts are meant to bend that much to absorb a lot of the impact but I'll have to look well over the frame once I start messing with those. Thanks for the reminder

I’ve only seen one of his videos. The cost reveal of he R1M. Had entirely too much invested in a repaired salvage bike. Could of bought a clean title used bike for less. I know UA-camrs do this for content but I wish more people knew a repaired salvage vehicle of any sort is worth 30-50% than a clean title after repair and it’s still a salvage vehicle. At best this bike is worth about $3500, I inspect for a living.

Eventually CJ will realise parting out the M1000RR is going to be worth more than the completed build. Frame is going to need to measured and likely reset unlike the 1199 where the motor is the stress point. Good luck brother.

There's no way would I buy a bike that's been in a accident no matter how good it's been repaired all the ally and carbon is probably full of stress fractures the energy of the crash has got to go somewhere so can you imagine if the next buyer has an accident it could be a part of the bike that kills them

With it being bill of sale how will you ever ride it on the road? You have no title to register it.
That bill of sale was just paper work from picking up the bike, the bike is registered as salvage! Which will be able to be registered once fixed and passed inspection!

The amount of money that you're going to have to put into that BMW is going way more than what you paid for it, it looks like it was an M series, you should have just bought a new one. But I do like watching rebuilds 😁

By the time you have this completely rebuilt... you could have purchased a brand new one. It will never be worth the money you invest in it due to the accident.

If you look at the specs you have the M which comes with all the goodies that the rr does not have , the M is about £ 30 000 new
I think you're referring too the M1000RR, my bike is just a S1000RR with the optional M package on it, putting my bike brand new at around 22k USD or £17.5k, but yes you're right it has a lot of the M bike features with the M package

you do a really good job rebuilding stuff but just to save money a fork that isnt bent but has heavy is still a perfectly good shock, scratches are just cosmetic
Thank you Jack! I didn't really show it on camera but the forks had pretty deep dents in them where the scratches were. I assume that affects the performance of the forks travel up and down. I am hoping to rebuild them or somehow fix them as they are over 2k a piece for those forks.
@@CJMediaOfficial oh well Cleary the camera just doesn’t do it justice, if the forks were that bad then yeah replace them wouldn’t want a fork blowing on the road, plus on a bike like that you’ll need them since you can’t keep the front wheel down, even my kx250 I can’t keep the wheel down sometimes

The Dimsport tuner you have there is likely from Brentuning moto, that bike is flashed for the full exhaust

I ahve the same bike with a Bren Tune and that tuner is different than what Bren sends you. It might be a more mafia file. Have that ignition being gone is gonna be a major hassle for you.. Prettye sure those ignitions are locked to the ECU so swapping out ignitions have to be done by the factory. I could be wrong but I think its the case.
