I used to volunteer at a cat shelter, and I was told that kittens who got separated from their mommies are emotionally scarred for life and would not warm up to anyone. Chan, I have SO much respect for you for caring for these kitties!

In regards to Jeff’s comments, I wholly believe the way he said it could have been better but this episode was about politics and politics should be about asking questions and understanding other people’s viewpoints, and that’s exactly what he was doing.Unfortunately politics doesn’t operate that way currently.
He was trying to understand, he asked Jackie, the only person that could respond. People need to stop being so oversensitive and develop a way to understand intentions.

Do people not realise that Jeff was giving Jackie the opportunity to explain to America? He's more cunning than it might appear - he knows what he's doing. He definitely gave Jackie a platform there intentionally.

chan’s performance of “looking at” dixie is so convincing that it’s surpassing the amount of looking chan had done in episodes where they’ve actually in the same room.. just smiling and nodding at no one to her right, I livvvee.
Fun fact: Jackie did mention in a live before that they were given a list of outfits to bring that separated which would be the runways along with which outfits would go into a mini/maxi challenge (as they probably dont want any controversy after the backlash of the All Star 4 girls having their elaborate clown costumes being used for a clunky acting challenge) ❤❤

sherikrupp This! Our first two episodes or so definitely weren’t as edited as the US show, but I’m fairly certain we’re now seeing exactly what the US see. We hardly see the she-devil at all now.

Here in the UK on Netflix we've gotten the anti-Sherry Pie edit fullfold, so I've got no idea where you guys got the idea we've got the original edit. I'm SO thankful we don't because I'd genuinely not be able to watch this season because I'd be so grossed out.
It honestly feels like this season's been ruined for me by Sherry, the rudeness of Ru forcing Heidi to change her name and calling Crystal El DeBarge all the time, and the CONSTANT broccoli Dahlia every single episode.
This one was action packed. Dixie, I love that you voted for John Kerry even though it was emotional for you. My brother was not allowed to retire from the military by GW and had to do seven tours of Iraq and Afghanistan during the years he was supposed to be retired and coaching his kid's high school teams. That vote was important, even if that bad man was not removed. Auntie Chan, congratulations on the kittens! I hope you will let us see them some. Thank you for being so cool about your new kitty having kittens. You saved her and those kittens. Dixie, you look cute in your outfit, even with the hat. Chan, I love that story about you creating comedy based on Clinton winning. That's what Stephen Colbert went through that same night. What a night that was. I agree about the tears then being because we all saw this disaster coming. Last, I wish we could see the version of Drag Race they are seeing in the U.K. I just want to see how it was originally.
I'm from the UK and we did get some unedited versions of the episodes early on because those were probably already in the pipeline, we have been getting the edited versions for several weeks now and even the earlier episodes were replaced with edited versions like yours.
Idk if im not actually watching UK netflix but im from the uk and what ive watched has no sherry pie in it, no story line or any of her included, only a few bits this episode and her runway but thats it. Who knows lol
Same! I'm watching it on UK Netflix and while yes Sherry Pie is still in there a little bit especially as more queens leave - it's clear that she has been (rightfully) edited down a lot. No talking heads and her wins haven't made much sense because she's not in much of the ep. I heard that the first episode UK netflix still had the original edit because there wasn't enough time to change it but you definitely couldn't say we're still getting the original edit

I feel that Jeff did nothing wrong by asking a question that "Needed" to be answered. Jackie answered the question very elegantly. You could actually say however, that since Jackie is Agnostic, it would be very offensive that she wore that.

the original edit with sherry pie in it was only for the first 2 episodes and it happened with a few different distributors. not just in the uk, but also for canada. but now they're getting the same edit as everyone else, so they're not seeing sherry pie. but what they saw was enough to draw the conclusion that sherry was meant to make it to the top 4 prior to what happened

Rhys Jones I’m pretty sure the first episode (maybe episode two as well?) wasn’t edited on UK Netflix because of time constraints. I figured the episodes following would have been fixed up though

Lady Chan... How is that cat situation going? I only ask because a pregnant stray cat forced herself into my life 10 yrs ago. Today she is a beloved pet and so are all of her cat babies. Members of my family adopted them all. I'm incredibly touched by by this part of the episode and I thank you for being a kind enough person to take in a kitty that needed help. I thank you both for entertaining me with content during a lockdown because it is much needed by me right now, personally

Oh my god! My therapist had the same thing happen, on Saturday (we have phone sessions lol) ! She was watching toy story with her kid and on Saturday night suddenly her cat was in labor in the living room. She called her receptionist (a former petco employee) and she walked her through the first delivery then the cat picked the kitten up and ran to her bedroom and had 4 more! So far they're thriving

Chan it is so funny that you named your kittens bouba and kiki. In linguistics there is a famous study where they asked people to assign a shape to the made up words 'bouba' and 'kiki' to see whether humans collectively would have a mental image of what those sounds would look like physically, and they did!
