The producers, editors, etc..seemingly not liking Britta makes me feel like behind the scenes she was probably unlikable. I will never know the intense pressure cooker of stress it must be to participate in the show, so I won't act as I do in any way. Although, from watching the show for many years you see this extreme stress manifest in not so lovely ways, like potentially being rude on set. I feel like she's getting the Derrick Berry edit (thinking that you're much better than what is being shown) and she (Derrick) was notoriously unlikable on set. I have never seen her perform live etc.. but I am sure she is known in NYC for a reason. Doing poorly on drag race doesn't mean that any of these girls aren't good queens, just not in this particular competition setting which is something I think people tend to forget.
I was thinking the same thing about Brita behind the scenes may be quite unlikable!

Although I'm still trying to wrap my mind around how the IMHO logo on the middle of the split screen works... how does it WORK? It's in front of Chan but behind Dixie, but over the split screen, but... it looks like a real object and not a graphic added in post... what is this WITCHCRAFT

Aiden getting ganged up on by almost everybody and then half of them looking like they're trying to gaslight her about why they've been so hostile was - suspect. Heidi having to come in and tell everyone to shut the hell up and stop bullying her was great, I'm glad she did. Brita's been bitter at Aiden for getting the treatment Brita thinks she's entitled to, and lashing out at Aiden every possible moment for it - the reality is, they don't judge all contestants equally, especially not when there's still this many of them, and production seems to have seen more merit in not risking Aiden's elimination over risking Brita's; whining at Aiden isn't going to make them suddenly go "Ah, Brita, truly she will be endeared to us and the world."
Aiden definitely seems to have come in with not a lot of resources; some concerns about how she'd be viewed/treated (as most contestants do); and a less-is-more aesthetic that, while valid, she's relied on at least partially because of the aforementioned limited resources, but that she's now struggling to shake off when she needs to. I think the wig is fine, it's never looked out of place with the outfits, but the outfits themselves just need more put into them to sell that the minimalism is intentional and thought-out, rather than a material means necessity.
