I’ve got a similar claw that rips out stumps and trees on my Volvo EC220. A lot of times I use it to drop trees that I come later and saw up, either sections for my mill or to come later with a tractor and grapple. It’s the fastest solution.
@ I actually bought it for my EC355 which was a monster but those reduced tailswing machines are not good for land clearing. I traded it for the 220 which is the best machine for that.
How does bossman get kicked down to the 80?….those mulberry stumps giving you a hard time….you need more ooomph!…..the kid in NC is making a fortune from YT clearing land….I’m no genius, but think people like seeing it…. I like seeing how much you’ve grown your equipment and operation….best wishes to you and your crew for this year!
I would come over and do that for ya for nothing.....just to have fun....LOL. I have a mini and love running it on my property. I live in upstate NY on the Vermont border. Happy New year.
I enjoy digging up stumps that my U-27 can handle. But a big beech tree stump can take a looong time with my little excavator so it gets frustrating. Those beech have one hell of a tap root.
It sure can them little 27s have good break out force though for small machines. I put a ton of hrs in one last year putting in fiberoptics. Miss running that machine now I run a cat mini doing gas work. I’d take the Kubota over the cat any day.
I remember the days when I was working with heavy equipment, and it was exciting for the first 1/2 hour. Then it just became another tedious job.
Guessing that would work well on fiber optic cable 😂 Happy New Year!
@@longviewfarm226 you as well
great video.....really enjoy stumping videos

220 must be a monster with a ripper. Nice
