I am having a similar issue, except my driveway is on a hill and water is always running down the drive and staying wet. Would you do it the same way as you did here? And, Is that perforated pipe?
Is it a spring underneath or is it surface water that is running down it?
@@VTOutdoorServices I am sure its a spring. Never had a problem until we had underground electric put in down the middle of our dirt driveway. Now we have water that bubbles up in the middle of the road. it starts halfway down our drive which is on a hill and has produced a stream down the middle of the drive.
@@MySliceOfHeavenoutdoors exact same issue here, curious if this method would fix it.
Nice Truck!!! …😎
I would've left the mirror just because it was and don't cloud where you don't know where you are doing or how the ground is always look in the warmer weather of where you are going to work if you get snow
New ones on
Beautiful truck. Those black wheels look good even in their burgundy color. Sharp. Cant beat a Cummins. 😊
Bought these for my fisher plow. Plug and play in stock plow lights. Very happy with it BEAMTECH H13/9008 Bulbs, S1 Series Fanless 300% Brighter 6500K White Fog Light for Car Powersports ATV UTV, Pack of 2
Thanks. I’d been looking for just bulbs and ordered several that either didn’t fit or wouldn’t turn on.
I have those same lights if you turn auto headlights off they seem to work fine. They sent me other set and did the same thing. Definitely a junk light
@@2kgodgamer157 interesting! I’ll try it
Looking good.
Nice shop brother. Always watch your channel!!! Big fan of CAT equipment and your trucks and plowing videos. Howdy from Texas!!!
Can’t wait for your merch and shirts!!! Love the logo for your company!! I will definitely be buying them soon once you start selling them brother! Wish you ALL the success in 2025!!! Keep the videos coming love it!!!
Nice Shop, Great videos
Is the merch for sale?
I never have. It’s for the employees. But it’s something I have thought about for sure. I would need to have a different one made. I never thought anyone would be interested actually
New shop looks Great 👍 Big upgrade
That's such a cool tool
How does the south like Florida get 11 inches and we get a rare 3inches up here in the north east
I’m out of here in 5 more winters and seeing that in Florida made me depressed. Can’t escape it lol
I have the most powerful truck in New England
Ridgeline?
@ no I own a real truck actually
All in good fun bud. Have a great rest of the week
Do you sand/salt any of the lots?
Yeah all of them as needed. Two of the trucks have spreaders
Every 1 claims they have the most powerful truck 😂
Purely clickbait. Mine is legit
@VTOutdoorServices no I have the most powerful diesel
I found your channel a little while ago I used to live on pratt road across the road from your old shop it’s great to watch your videos from Florida cheers my friend
How many trucks do you have out plowing
@@francisrestucci1181 currently have 3 plowing. Have a 4th available but it’s brand new and will be a back up.
@@VTOutdoorServicesanother new truck? What did you get?
@@drewmurphy2796can’t say 😂 yet
@@VTOutdoorServices I didn’t know they made plows for cybertrucks 🤣🤣 I’m kidding but can’t wait to see what it is, you always get nice trucks
I’m definitely Jealous I’m in southern New England we have picked up 10 inches all year so far. 2 plows run and maybe 3-4 salt runs. Another big dud down here.
Yeah, same here. Im in CT and we've gotten about 4-5" this year. I did one full plow route and maybe 3 salting. Im living vicariously through these plow videos. I have a cabin up north of where he lives and we're getting snow like this 3-4 times a week. I need to move up there full time!
No you dont
Praying for a good February in ct!
@@Brandon-ky9xz out again today. Another 12” of powder or so. I’m not loving it lol.
Same here I’m on the south shore of Mass. we haven’t gotten shit for snow. I want to get into plowing but with cost of insurance and lack of snow it would be a losing investment
Just more Chinese Junk! Sorry
I’m looking at getting 60 but my local dealer almost never has one on lot… just wondering about much tail swing is there when the cab is 90 degrees to the tracks… we do mostly tree work and land clearing.
awesome machine. But at that angle it has the ass of a Kardashian. I'd say 24" of overhang at minimum.
This would drive me nuts plowing for hours
i dont know for certain, as i dont have any experience with these lights or company for that matter. but i am pretty confident you need some sort of anit flicker module or relay to run those LED headlights, especially because that plow had halogen bulbs from the factory. i would especially say this, considering it is on a ram truck. EDIT: i had an entire different message typed out. but for shits and giggles i went to grotes website, and i dont think your issue is in the headlights. if you go to their website and click on the lights scroll down to the bottom where it says RELATED INFORMATION, below that will be install insturction, q&a's etc. click on the part where it says bypass using relays instructions. it specifically says if you are using a fisher plow with halogen lights they reccomend you follow these instructions and it gives you a diagram.
Thanks I’ll check it out. Seems as though it would affect all low beams and high beams not just one bulb in particular though.
I checked it out. It just says fisher doesn’t have an issue with their circuits being limited on output because they have their own separate module. International, however, limits how much power their circuits can provide so you’d need a relay to make sure the heated aspect of the lights will work properly
So the reason why they're flickering might be because of your truck sometimes l.E!D's with newer vehicles don't work with trucks.Sometimes you need a resistor or something in line
Yeah I’m aware of that. This issue is affecting just one light function. The rest work fine
Should’ve started a search party for that neck 😂😂
That sucks.
Sorry man. That's a huge cop out by the manufacturer. If it's an authentic product it shouldn't matter where you got them. I guess i lucked out on my western with aftermarket hid bulbs. Super bright and have held up except when one got loose and started melting the inner housing. Hang in there
That sucks iv started a hate for Amazon the accessibility makes it convenient. I ordered a dispstick off there the for my commuter car since no parts stores had one in stock Amazon was next fastest option got yesterday thru it in and it snapped off when pushed down. If I wasn’t able to get needle nose vice grips on there that would have cost me. Ever since that I was gonna avoid them then I see this and now I am really gonna avoid them
I spend probably 2k a month on average on there. Very handy in most cases
you may need a anti-flicker Error-free Super Decoder, box goes between the head light and the oem harness i had a issue running led on a 2009 f250 with a boss v.
I’m looking into resistors now. The pass side low beam is now doing it to. High beams are fine
I’d refund them just pull the plugs out keep the plugs in the harness and get some new ones. I will say I went with the buyers and don’t regret any of it. Awesome headlights great design only downfall if there was one if you slam a big plow bag and you get some snow flying up, he can pack in the recessed Lenz momentarily till it melts off. Have had them for three years.
@@snownek-6236 I ordered a set from an authorized retailer and when they come in swapping the bad one and returning the pair to Amazon guy. Just sucks to lay out $800
Hey man sorry to see your troubles, sucks have been there one to many times. Is there a way you can remove the bulbs on the fisher XV2 lights and some how install a bright led bulb of some sort for the time being ? I’ve heard through the grapevine that buyers makes a decent heated led light assembly for plows. Good luck and keep killing it! Glad to see all the new company growth.
I’ve tried 2 different bulbs with no luck for various reasons. Gave up lol.
Thats a 10.5 xv2 right
This one is a 9.5 xv2. Traded my XLS for it and cash
Should of bought the fisher leds
@@peterfreeman3299 3 times the price and a whole additional harness and 3rd module
@ but you wouldn't be dealing with the problem you have now
The western/fisher ones came down in price a lot from new just have to get the truck side harness essentially making your truck to a 3 plug if you want. Power control plug the led plug and leave the original headlight plug Incase you wanna use a plow without leds. You just gotta quickly swap plugs on the module (5)seconds depending if you wanna use the leds or halogen. I wired 5th gen ram like that.
We have 8 sets of these on county plows and absolutely love them. havent had isues yet.
@@ICBUS0730 I ordered another set from a different vendor. When it comes in I’ll return this one I guess
What the heck are you doing reading instructions? 😅
😂
Two things. One. I kind of see where they are coming from about not warranty an unauthorized dealer. Two. Are you sure you don't have to mess with the truck side light harness? I have halogens on my xv2 and I know if I do the fisher led lights I would need to change truck side harness as the halogen harness won't work with leds
It’s their product. Should let me send it back and verify, then warranty. Not just refuse to talk about it. Yeah harness is fine. All functions work fine with exception of the one driver side low beam. Passenger low beam and both high beam work fine. These are designed to work off 12v while fisher decided to make it some convoluted million dollar kit for some reason
Just another way to sell new parts and labor. It's ridiculous how expensive everything is now a days especially for snow removal. The halogens do suck lol. Post an update when you have one, looks like a simple splice but for $400 I would hope they work better for you,
Looked like your truck headlights were doing the same thing when you were in front of them at around the 6:00 mark. You can see the light flickering off your sweat shirt
That’s just the camera not liking them
@ gotcha
Might I Recommend you Put Yellow Fog Lights on the Front. It May Help with Blowing Snow.
Do you always wait for the snow fall to finish or do you try to plow with the storm? Just think it's easier to manage if you don't wait for a foot or more of snow
I had to go and watch the video again to remind myself what was going on. at 8:10 I'm in the truck plowing and say we currently have 5" on the ground and am plowing as the storm is occurring
Very disappointed how you didn't mention the stationary vintage F-150 shown in your last stop, or the vintage type of people it takes to keep those dinosaurs going so they can be appreciated by the motoring public 🤣🤣 Once again great job done by all!
Think its beter to wait and save money for an encon or rototilt .
