    Very Happy for you Steve!!
My father had TG exactly 1 year back and he struggles with the exact same issues like hypoglycemia, bile reflux.
2 years back he also had a heart bypass surgery.
I just wanna know the how do you take extra supplements like b12 or iron or calcium other than the diet.
And My fathers still takes medicines for the bile reflux.
Its been an year since my father had surgery and the one thing that scares me is when his blood sugar drops.
Once again just so happy for you and this will definitely spread more positivity for my father. THANK YOU SM!!

@@VkVk-kx2jw wow! Thanks for sharing, your dad sounds like a legend after all he’s been through. So for b12 I get a shot once a month. You can do sublingual everyday, but I prefer to do one shot once a month.
From my bloodwork, I have more of a problem with iron then I do with calcium. Apparently I took too many tums and my calcium was super high, so I cut tums out. So if you dad is struggling with calcium, maybe try a supplement and see what the bloodwork shows.
Give your dad my best wishes ❤️

      Hi,
My ferritin level was very low. It was at one point 9. I needed iron infusions. I take a prescribed iron pill along with vitamin c every other day. I get blood work every three months for iron levels. Few times it was normal, but on the borderline of low. I felt achy, my legs felt weak. My doctor suggested an iron infusion and felt much better. Sometimes it take a couple of years after full gastrectomy to have iron issues. Which was my situation.
I agree with Dan on B12 injections monthly. Some people might need it every two weeks.

Dan have you tried baking soda with water for reflux?
Not Arm and Hammer baking soda.BTW). I think I am going to switch from the prescribed medication I take currently.

@ wow! Yea I had low iron on my bloodwork last year, but it’s been stable now. B12 is low for me right now, but I sometimes go two months without it because I forget. Staying on top of it is something I need to get better at. Thank you!
