I use paper hinge tape. It is used to hang art work. It has the advantage of not drying out, not yellowing over time and, it is removable. It does pucker the paper a bit, because the adhesive is activated with water.
Hi Simon, this is great stuff. I really like the booklet idea and will help with repeats on prior pages! I'd like to add an idea I picked up about playing out of doors. Using a clear piece of plexiglass to cover the sheet music will keep the wind from blowing the pages off the stand. I picked a pre-cut piece up at my local hardware store (in this case, Home Depot) for a nominal price. Thanks again for this great technique! Btw, loved Nikki's example : )
I used card stock for performance pieces. I enlarged the music by printing pdf selections and matching them together. It is work, but worth it to make a non-flimsy booklet. I like the idea of the hinge tape! I also folded over and put the tape on the outside so that it would have slack in the hinge.
an isufficient manner of taping. I find that this will not last very long. If you plan to use the sheet music for any more than one or two performances the tape will rip.
Thanks for taking the time to comment, Christopher! This is a tried and true method that has worked for us for years, but there are certainly other methods out there (including using a more heavy-duty tape...which will help prevent any tearing using this same method). Peace. -Dave B
The booklet idea is great! I was wondering what to do with a 5 pages sheet and now I finally got the solution :)
So glad it was helpful!
OMG, Niki with the Italian gestures! Perrrrrfect. :)
I miss practicing on paper. Good stuff as always, my friend

Interesting, Geoffrey. I will have to check that out!
Simple and effective!

This tip is pretty good. Thanks
I print out oversized sheet music so I can read it, and this gives me some good ideas for getting more pages on the music stand. Thanks!

Great solution! thanks for your comment
Blessings to you man! Thanks a ton!
Thanks for the nice comment, Greg!
Thank you for sharing, simple solution but it will definitely be helpful.
I started to apply it on practice routine papers, now it's much easier to arrange and no need to search for papers and re-organize every time :)
@@sul6ansb Glad it could already be put to use! Thanks
Is there a certain tape that’s better to use? I’ve always struggled with this. Thanks!
Hi Linda, scotch tape is cheap and works really well. You can splurge and get some cloth tape, but it's quite a bit more expensive.
I have 11 pages someone help
Nine sheets. I have nine sheets.
Quite a challenging number of sheets!

If anyone is still reading the comments- I am a piano player and I kinda struggling with 30 pages
Hi Silas, in that case we would recommend a booklet-style taping and having a page turner. :)
SAMEE, but I only have nine for the merry of round of life-Howls moving castle
