Just to add more information , Vibrato is a very useful technic when playing the violin. What needs to understand is, the vibrato effect is created when you, roll the finger tip vertically on the string. You should not press the string up and down to create the vibrato effect. Good demonstration session. By regular practice you can improve the technique.
This kind of vibrato is the way eastern players do it, compare it to the beginning section where a western classical violinist is doing vibrato, he is not resting the instrument on his thumb, he is not using his wrist much and not sliding his fingers, he is pivoting on his finger and shaking his hand.
