I found out that I have type 2 diabetes and went on a low carb diet. In one year I lost 53 pounds. A pound a week and all I can say is Thank you Jesus ❤️

Everything you said in your video today rang true and hit me like a ton of bricks. I’ve been on the struggle bus for months and I’m very worried about my health if I don’t change my bad habits into healthy ones. Covid really messed me up plus menopause at the same time plus lost my mom and was absolutely devastated and depressed! Something has got to change!! My problem is I don’t move enough, I need to get moving! No one’s fault but mine. Lord willing I will find my healthy happiness soon! Thank you Anne for your honesty and transparency, you’re amazing and I’m so glad I found your channel 💕💕💕. Bless you always.
Thanks Cindy… that’s a lot of pain concentrated into a little window. I’m so sorry for your loss. I haven’t done any exercising yet the past few weeks. I know I’ll get to a place when I’m feeling healthy and energetic that I will actually want to take a walk and maybe even do weights and I look forward to that but I take things slowly else it’s too much to handle.

I haven't seen your videos in quite awhile and when this one popped up the first thing I thought is boy she has lost weight, so happy you found carnivore, I have been eating the carnivore diet for 5 yr's now with my husband and have lost all my weight 67lb and when you mentioned ice cream I love it also, but there are recipes for carnivore ice cream by Maria Emmerich and protein ice cream I make with my egg white powder and protein powder and heavy cream and you can add flavoring, sometimes I just add a pkg of sugar free pudding, or sugar free jello, divide them up and freeze them in 7 oz cups and freeze them so you do not need to go without good rich ice cream , I use allulose or other sugar free sweetners. if needed. You can also whip up a carton of heavy whipping cream and add 1 pkg of your flavor surgar free jello and keep whipping it until it gets thick and freeze it. I also found a recipe for hamburg chips, that you can make in the oven by rolling out a ball of hamburg the size of your fist roll it out between 2 pieces of parchment paper so it is very thin. and bake it at 250 for 1 to 1 and 1/2 hrs, when you take it out you just break it up in pieces and put it in a zip lock bag and I take it in the car with me, we also have it at night if we need a snack, and you are getting more protein in, my hair started to grow back and nails. I have had many healings with this diet I will never go back to junk. Anyway I wish you luck you will do good, and all those heath issues will go trust me mine all have. It is also an age reducing diet. I have had something similar to this happen 5 times now, the last was I was behind my daughter in the food check out line when the girls on the register asked her if she would like them to put her sisters food in her cart with hers, she looked back and said sister my Gosh thats my mother they all laughed and I gave them the thumbs up, she is 53 and I am 76 .

❤ Praying for a complete success on your health journey Anne . I have been doing 1 meal a day (morning) fasting until the next day until the next morning and it has been working for me...(it's not for everyone) I could probably get better results with lo-carb (which I don't do) but for now it will suffice...I really admire you for looking into this.❤ I heard years ago eat for your blood type-- maybe that's why lo-carb diets work for some and not for others...you're going to do great Anne 😊 keep us posted 🪻🪻🌷🌷

I think low carb works for me too..I love sweets but I can't have them so sad because I love to bake 😢
It is so sad! But it would be really hard to bake and not eat what you make. My daughter likes to bake and it’s hard to resist some of her things. I’m trying to get her to cut down her carbs too.
Anne I’m so proud of you !!!!! I can tell you have lost inches , your face and neck !!!!!!! I know it’s not easy, I have been on keto for 3 years now and lost 30 lbs . I will continue to stay on keto bc for me it’s just works for me !!!! I’ll be 70 years young in October and I have never felt better !!! I will be with you on this journey all the way bc I know you will make it ♥️

Great going. Did intermittent fasting and did well.ate a salad and protein and lost weight.3 yrs ago my throat started hurting like burning and felt like cut glass, hoarse and very sore. Not covid, so told dr and x with LPR laryngopharengeal reflux. So have to eat,ow fat,avoid triggers (onions (which for a yr was eating about 1/3 of onion a day in salads), garlic, tomato sauce, and chocolate. Also acidic fruits. So have had a hard time and amon PPI med which I don’t like but because diagnosed with barrets esophagus which is precursor to caI will take them. So I need to lose 25to 30 lbs sigh will help my severe arthritis as well. Just subscribed to your channel

I am so happy what youve found is working for you. You are looking so good. For the same reason that eating way is working for you and no longer suffer with IBS if i followed that diet when my issue is the opposite i would be in big trouble. I also have Lymphedema caused by surgeries and have to stay away from dairy. I guess everyone is so different in the needs for their own bodies. Im gonna try meats and lowest carb fruits and vegies. That im sure i can do.

Dairy is hard to stay away from but I do too for the most part. Some people incorporate it into carnivore but it really doesn’t agree with me… although I still love ice cream.:(

Bravo! I went through a rough patch during menopause(50), gained 25lbs. and developed an autoimmune condition. I ate a very strict diet for 3+ years. My health improved and I went from a size 12 to a 4. (I'm 5'2, medium frame) Around 55, I started eating more carbs again, big mistake. I'm 57 now and no longer a size 4, currently an 8. My waistline is where I see it. Time to get back on track. ~ Cheers to healthy living

I'm starting as soon as j get home from vacation and food shop. I will say I will always have bat wings. And that's OK when I look at my. Bat wings, I see my mom. It's like i have her with me. So I am now ready to embrace the imperfections that I have inherited from my parents and just want to be healthy. I'm doing this with you so please keep the updates coming. Thanks so much!❤

I'm 67. I'm not doing keto, but I am doing Intermittent Fasting. 10-6 is my eating window.
I don't have any health issues, haven't been sick in many years.
I never was one to eat sugar, so for me, that was good.
I have cut out all junk food, just don't desire it anymore. It's working, and after 9 full days I've dropped 6 lbs. I feel great. I have no cravings. I was invited to lunch today, had a great meal (Brazilian Food)...my plate was small and I was fully satisfied.I ate at 1:00, so I had fasted 17 hours. Had a small dinner with my husband...the food the hostess sent home with me.
I am grateful I don't crave sugar at all...never have. I'd like to lose about 25 lbs. This is the easiest thing I've ever done.

Omg! I am SO excited you are doing this. You will inspire so many people. You’re already doing great. What frustrates me so much is friends and loved ones who need this so much won’t listen to me. I know I have to just shut up and wait till they ask, but some have numerous health problems. They’ve seen me struggle for years with severe IBS, Silent reflux, neuropathy in my legs, hip pain…they see me getting better, but still say “you cannot eat that way forever! It’s not healthy.” Yes! I can and yes it is! “ when I research something, I go deep. Not sure if someone else mentioned but No Carb Life on here has a ton of good testimonials. Dave is a great interviewer and lets them talk. He has short ones and long ones. I watch a few every night. I predict you will do one with him someday! ❤

@@franzone70 watch some of the carnivore doctors on UA-cam. You will get more energy on meat. The carb thing is not true.

By the way you can make carnivore ice cream, there’s a ton of recipes online I made it for the first time about a week and a half ago and my husband loved it. I made him chocolate so I did use chocolate cocoa and Stevia, and it’s delicious, so maybe make some for your birthday 🎉💕🥳🎈
Oh yes! I saw a recipe for that! I’m keeping it in mind but I’m going to hold off a little while yet because I want to get to a place of health first. If I made that I may start eating that all the time and it would probably slow my weight loss down. ❤️

I'm mainly Carnivore now, but I add mushrooms or a little brocolli sometimes. I have two pieces of Keto bread a week.

20 carbs a day! I just looked on my wraps and one wrap was 24 carbs, and l thought l was eating healthy eating wraps instead of bread.

My granddaddy would tell the girls who were always wanting to lose weight no second servings and get up from the table and move!!

Anne, do you find that your headaches are more manageable? I found that it helped with my migraines. Again, great video!
Thanks Kelly. I am still taking my migraine medication. I haven’t had a migraine for 2 years since I started taking that except for a few days when I messed up my pills and didn’t take it. I don’t dare try yet.
I only eat two meals a day and lost 10 pounds. I try and have organic fruits and vegetables and lean meat, eggs or cheese everyday. Pasta sometimes too. I gave up my morning cereal because of the roundup they spray near the wheat. Not good for you. I think its worth it to buy organic for better health.
I still have my glass of champagne and eat ice cream once in awhile. You have to find out what works for you. I have been on a diet my whole life but I do have low thyroid that doesn't help. Its always been a struggle.

Thanks for sharing. When I was in better health I could eat treats once in a while and it didn’t affect me. That’s the goal. No one wants to go through life never tasting the food they love again. Sounds like you have something that works well for you!
Stay strong 💪I’m starting on this journey again… it’s not easy as I’m going to be 71 in a few weeks but I agree… just go slow with your progress… a pound a week is great because it stays off better than if you lose too much weight all at once so keep pushing forward and you’ll do great 👍 🎉 hugs 🥰🌻🙏

Anne, I get it. I'm 58 years old. My Dad past away July 5th '23 and my Mom June 9, '24. They both past away with bad health. I can't say I'm on Keto. I have been on and off of it. But knowing low carb, clean eating is the only way to get and stay healthy. Just remember if you can't stay carnivore, there's such thing as ketovore. What's sad is there needs to be doctors who wants you in better health. Not putting you on meds! Health insurance is ridiculous! To high deductibles to meet!🙄 Only makes since to have a goal to stay healthy and stay out of the Doctors' offices. My go to Doctors online is Dr. Eric Berg and Ken Berry md. 🥰 My go to youtube recipes is Low Carb love.❤ Others I love is All Day I Dream About Food, Keto Twins, Keto Focus. There's others.😂 Oh and there's good Keto ice cream recipes, etc. Saying all that, I love your Channel. Especially the live chats with the ladies.😃 Blessings and prayers for you for better health!🙏🙏🙏

Hi Mark! Thanks! Right now I’m eating ruminant animals like cow, bison and sheep. I choose the fatty cuts. I’m eating eggs and bacon too but I may need to back off them b cause I know I’m sensitive to eggs so it could be causing inflammation. I just didn’t want to go so severe at once because I need to be successful.

Anne, can you share the electrolytes? There are so many and it's hard to know which is good. It's also expensive trying different doctors/chiropractors or naturalists.
The scale destroyed my program. I've been working out every day, trying to eat better and I gained 2 lbs, it destroyed me! Be careful of the scale.

@@AnneClay the tape measure is best, I believe. At least until your clothes are much looser.
I have to get back to it because I am a mess and I've had my 61 year old mom and 50 year old brother die same as your sister. They had a regular day, eat dinner, sat in their chairs and died. Massive heart attacks. My dad also had heart attack but died at 66 from non Hodgkins lymphoma. Enough about me!

A sudden death is such a shock to our system. But my mom and brother had a peaceful death unlike my father, he went through so much. It's always something. ❤

Look into Methylated vitamins. If your genes are missing pathways, regular vitamins will not absorb correctly which makes everything not work properly. This causes a lot of health issues. A Lot of folks have this problem in their genes. Getting Genetic testing helps. It may be something like this that is out of your control. First maybe have your doctor test your vitamin levels. Hope you feel better soon. Don't be so hard on yourself. You are doing really well. If you make a eating mistake it's ok. Just start again tomorrow. We are only human. No one is perfect. I'm fighting also. The ice cream thing is no joke. Never give up. You got this..

You need FODMAP diet. When I don’t follow it….I pay.
