I was bullied at school and I had to be moved school twice because of bullying and this song did a lot to get me through. I teach bullied school kids self defence and I make sure the parents buy their kids a copy of this. Although Nick Berry never realised it his song will change the lives of many bullied school kids forever.

Had to come have a listen after watching Eastenders all over again on Drama every weekday. They played it to death on Eastenders. I can still remember my Sisters buying this on LP when I was 6.
He confessed in a Smash Hits interview that he can’t sing for toffee, which was even used as a quote on the cover! Pleasant enough voice though, and he can carry a tune. Very nice song, I don’t know why songs like this with good lyrics are generally considered naff. Middle of the road maybe, but certainly credible.

A LOT of copies of this record turned up a "bring'n'buy"/fete at my school, in Nuneaton in the early 90s. Place was flooded with 'em! Have to admit, Nick/"Wicksey" (as he was known in Eastenders) looks pretty good in the video, despite the slightly mullet-y hair. And also think I recognise some of the canal videos's, look like they were filmed in Gas Street Basin, Birmingham!

amy grants love will find a way was heard a lot in 1985 this song is similar positive and uplifting but i never heard it in 1986 that i can remember but this music and singing is exquisite.
A LOT of copies of this record turned up a "bring'n'buy"/fete at my school, in Nuneaton in the early 90s. Place was flooded with 'em! Have to admit, Nick/"Wicksey" (as he was known in Eastenders) looks pretty good in the video, despite the slightly mullet-y hair. And also think I recognise some of the canal videos's, look like they were filmed in Gas Street Basin, Birmingham!
