Whenever I became an angst filled teenager my late father played this to me to basically tell me stop being so miserable and cheer up at times and it annoyed me how much it worked. Now, when I feel down I play this and think about him and tell my depressed inner being to "shut up'a you face!" and it helped. Thanks, Dad

My father immigrated to Canada from Italy in 1965. When he heard this song I was just 13 years old . I remember him laughing himself hoarse hearing it the first time. Made him giggle every time he heard it until he died in 1991. Cute song that’s close to my heart for the memories it has attached to it.

. . .over and over and over again. At one point I said to the teenaged popcorn jockey, "isn't this driving you nuts? The song playing over and over?" He hadn't noticed...until that moment and said "thanks a lot lady. Now I can't unhear it." We found our seats and sat down, still playing until the previews came on. At one point my dad turned to me and said, "Yeah. Thanks a lot lady!" I have loved this song ever since. My dad is gone now and occasionally I find this song and play it. It makes me smile.
