This is something that taught me to read my enemy in my team when we play! and understanding what money the enemy will be able to use or if they're spending is undeniably valuable to make sure that you always have a good read of your enemy being an IGL myself it's been the thing that makes any match a victory on multiple occasions. Great if you're wanting to be an IGL and want to be able to read the game backwards please learn this!

Matthew van Bastelaer I know I'm a couple months late, but I think the enjoyment comes mostly from the competition. Not the role-play. (We have Fallout 4 for that.)

They drop you in with a pistol at the beginning because you (the organization) doesn't have enough money for more weapons. If you complete your mission, you get more funding from the government.

Perfect. Counter-Strike has always been a sort of closed off community and it's kind of hard for new folks to get in and feel comfortable. These tutorials are a great step in that direction.

Are these tutorials still up to date?
You should know that as of the update to the game that happened yesterday, the penalty for killing a teammate has been reduced from -$3300 to -$300. But other than that, everything else in this tutorial should still apply to the game today. :)

This is so good you did this cuz im the one yelling befcause someone bought at the wrong time. Its so ez to just press tab before you buy and check if you're team can buy or if you need to buy a gun for someone in your team. I hope people will learn and less people will play individualy. Also, could you explain how to predict when the other team will buy or save! Thank you warowl!

the blue shell reference is from mario cart right? if you're close or in last place you get a blue shell to throw that takes out the leader of the race and anyone it runs into on the way.

so cts have no penalty for not defusing the bomb? they still get the money even if they run away and are killed after the bomb timer explodes? (in those like 3 seconds before round ends after bomb goes off)

Is it better to save your gun in a 1v5 situation for example or go and die so that your team gets some money?
I use the P2000... For me it just feels as they are the same in stats, and then i just compare the feel of the gun while playing, which is quite important in my opinion.

If you are a T and run the timer out does your whole team not get money or just you?
Say a failed push and teammates got wiped and they still have a whole team, no chance of winning, can I just back out with my full buy and my teammates still get money?

WarOwl, I hate to be one of them guys but I noticed there is a mistake in the video. On that spreadsheet we all love, it said "+800 for planting bomb and losing round". However I believe you get $800 for bomb plant whether you win OR lose the round, as long as you plant before the round is over. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Actually the spreadsheet was the part i found most interesting :| was playing Fallout new vegas, while listening to owl talk and give information, and when i heard him announce the table of numbers i dropped my controller and looked at my tablet's screen. Then proceeded to laugh a little bit as he continued to talk about the boring 'ol spreadsheet, and untimely made this comment describing my situation, which i felt compelled to share given its somewhat unusual nature.

the buy menu in it you can save your personal setup of weapons..
how do i do that in cs go..i wana save my gun with few grenades...so i can directly buy all together like css instead of buying 1 at a time..
You have to use a console command. You can bind your buys to a key like Numpad 1. Check on UA-cam how to bind buys. Its useful.

SGG must be THE weapon in eco rounds(1 shoot kill without kevlar), if a guy buy in 3th round you stand ready with it.
