PETE! How would you say the scale compares to current Free Peoples/Empire models? Thinking of doing a Samurai themed Empire army but want to make sure the scale makes sense.
YEY! They are the best landsknechts available on market. And quality/price/quantity is awesome. I made whole army for Kings of War (almost 300 miniatures) from Warlord Games landsknechts.
@@AceDRoses Kingdoms of Men. Pikemen as heavy pike block. Zweihanders as berserkers. I also use pole arms from zweihanders set to made Pole-Arm Block. Oh and at the end, I used Landsknecht Missile Troops box to made handgunners (arquebusiers) and crossbowmens. I hope it will help :)
Oh, such a nice miniature. I'm a AoS player and I really love AoS, but it would be really cool to see some more "classic" fantasy-historic miniatures from GW. And thanks for the video, it's useful.
GW already did that. Go back to the days of metal and the empire, mercenaries and bretonians were historical fantasy. And far superior to modern GW sculpts.
Games workshop are 28mm heroic which means the minis have bigger proportions. Warlord games are a more realistic scaling, yes they are 28mm but they have realistic proportions and would look out of place next to imperial guard
Great tutorial as usual! but you butchered it there :D 00:04 Landsknecht is the word you were searching for. I know it is hard to speak if you are not german...
Very well done. Great colour choice. Those gentle transitions are great for painting HIPS 28mm models.
Well done! I loved the more detailed video, and the return to explaining all the tecniques no matter how simple thay are
Thanks Pete ... nice mini and paint job. After watching your earlier videos, I thin down shades now too.
Great paint job! Though I don't think you should be using wet pallet with metallics, you won't get rid of shiny stuff later ;)
What a great looking figure. You an outstanding job of painting it. Thanks for sharing this.
I'd love a real-time video one day.

What faction do they go on?

Fantastic painting and a cracking miniature!
Amazing video! Greetings from Spain!
really nice - great paint job
Splendid painting, very impressive!
I thought that you weren't supposed to use metallic paints on a wet pallet?
Great video, thanks!
What about retarder medium and/or thinning medium?

just wait, they gonna give us some "old" miniatures from fantasy, at least I think so
@@sztachu Yea, probably. Cities of Sigmar may change some things.

just use these, they scale well
What is the scale of this miniature- would it look ok along side a GW Guard figure? With a shield I could run them as a Crusader.
They're 28mm, so pretty good for gw scale.

Nice empire greatswords . O wait
Great tutorial as usual! but you butchered it there :D 00:04
