Quando chega no Brasil?
Well, it finally got released in the U.K.
The Creatista Pro is a very nice looking machine, gorgeous from every angle but, does it make a good espresso cup?
With 8 different coffee brewing settings (read cup sizes) and a plethora of options for the milk frothing side of things, you will think it is a given... or is it?
After all, It has two boilers and it will prepare the espresso shot and froth the milk simultaneously in under 70 seconds. And with 11 different settings for milk alone, You can control how much froth and how hot you want your milk.
So, all good yes?
Well, yes... and no. If cappuccino, late, macchiato or milk recipes coffee is your thing, you are set and you can stop reading now.
Yes, it is massively overpriced for what it does but, it looks very nice indeed so if money is no problem, go for it.
Alas, when it comes to black coffee lovers, Things do take a turn for the worst. You see, there’s no water temperature control and, setting the volume for each cup size is a bit of a guessing game.
Take the Expert machine, great design, serves fantastic hot black coffee, allows for wide range, precise customisation via app connectivity, and at a pinch, will even serve hot water for a reasonable cup of tea. All of this for just over £230. (yes, I am aware of the many problems with the Expert range but, I must be lucky, I own two and have never experienced problems)
The Creatista Pro comes in at a heavy weight £649 and it leaves you wanting... Foremost, Wanting control over water temperature and, the convenience of customisation via app connectivity.
Sadly, the Creatista Pro falls massively short in those regards, The coffee is no where near as hot as that served by the much cheaper Expert... And there’s just no smart devices connectivity.
At this price range, not including these features is a baffling oversight but, lukewarm espresso coffee is just plain unacceptable.
So, if you like you espresso neat and hot, this is not the machine for you. In fact, over the last 8 years of Nespresso usage, I am still to find a machine that serves coffee as hot as the Expert range. So, in that regard, the Expert remains king.
As for the Creatista Pro, other than dual boilers... A missed opportunity to address the same shortcomings that plages the rest of the Creatista range.
At this price point, not recommended.
Wow! Thanks for the review. We have one in our office and it steals the spotlight. Although I understand the point you’re trying to say but the temperatures of a quality espresso is slightly above the drinkable level. And it’s perfectly acceptable because my coworkers love to enjoy their milk based coffees right away.
Last month I remember visiting one of my dear friends because he bought the Nespresso Expert and Milk. I have never tried the machine but when I placed the Voluto capsule in there I thought that the water will come out as hot as the other machines, but no ( I used to cradle the small espresso cup in my palms but I guess it was too hot) I noticed that the cup was way hotter than I expected, so I tasted the coffee. Yeah it was very bitter and acidic.
My point is that temperature changes the coffee flavor. And it didn’t look good this round.

Indeed, temperature does change flavour, and so does volume (over/under extraction).
I own two experts, the Creatista pro and a Sage Oracle. Getting The oracle dialled in can be a RPITA but, once there, and as it can be expected from a “proper” coffee machine, it delivers an amazing espresso. The experts produce a reasonable cup once the pods you use gets the right volume/temperature dialled in, which is where the expert shines. Sadly, out of all the machines I own, The Creatista pro delivers the worst coffee consistently. Great milk tho.
The best just got better ! Top of my shopping list. Looking forward to a UK release !
US release date?I am currently in the process of buying a Nespresso machine with great milk frothing function, the Creatista Plus seems like only has one boiler so it can't make coffee and froth milk at same time. Hi. I noticed that this particular creatista pro has a touchscreen only but when I search to buy it online I can't seem to find it only the creatista pros that has a button and dial under the screen.
When and which countries will the toucscreen only creatista pro be available and what are differences between the two?
