How does one pod make so much coffee? Is it a different setting of the machine? Also, do you recommend full fat or low fat milk for the froth?
Vertuo machines are designed to brew cooffee size capsules as well as espresso capsules. In this video she is using a 7.77 oz brewing coffee capsule.
@@Albertojedi yes, vertuo capsules range from espresso size (40ml) to an alto (414 ml)
Also the machine with the new pods spins the pod inside the machine like a centrifuge.
The Vertuo Coffee machines are designed to brew 5 cup sizes with the carafe 18 oz added to the Vertuo Next. There is a barcode on the pod that the machine reads to get the correct cup size, water pressure and temperature for the perfect cup
Full fat milk works the best but make sure you go under the max line because vitamin D milk froths really well and will overflow from top if you go to max line so I tend to stay under that line

Do these pods have cream or sugar in it? im usually drinking black coffee so I'm not sure if it makes sense to purchase this machine.
Hi! We have milk frothers you can use with our machines but the capsules themselves do not have any cream or sugar inside.

Dear Nespresso-Team,
I have been using your capusles for over a year now - however, last time I used them the coffee came out of the machine looking kinda of odd - there wasn't any crema at all, but strange bubbles. Also, there was coffee ground at the bottom of my cup. I have tried other capsules and they are working just fine - so I don't think it is the machine. Can you please help on this and tell me what might be the issue here?

You can make cold drinks on the original machine, currently there are limited edition iced coffee pods available.

Our Freddo Delicato currently available on our website was specially crafted to create a perfect harmony between coffee and ice.
The best way is to brew the capsule (40 ml) over a handful of ice cubes (90 g). To extend the treat, top it up with cold water or cold milk (90 ml). Cheers! 🧊 ☕

I bought one and the Capsules inside the box were expired I highly advice that you purchase fresh ones.
@@Smunsky they’re not expired.. they only have best before dates which means the capsules can still be used within a year after their best before dates. I already used 50 capsules and the coffee brewed is still fresh and good as new.
Is it necessary to put ice on the glass when brewing or I can put the ice second?
We usually recommend adding ice first but feel free to explore!

This recipe was made in conjunction with our Barista Recipe Maker.
Yes I see that but I wondered how I could replicate it with my machine.
The Creatista Plus steam arm is designed to steam milk rather than whip coffee so we'd recommend whipping the coffee separately if you are using that machine.
hello. may i ask if you can make cold brew coffee with Nespresso machine?
Hi Ben, while you are unable to make cold brew with the Nespresso machines you are able to create iced coffees. To do this you simply need to fill a glass with ice, then brew your preferred coffee directly onto this. Once the ice has cooled the coffee, you can top this up with cold frothed milk or cold water. I was so excited there was a coconut coffee but I didn’t realize when I bought them that it was artificial. I can’t do artificial ingredients. Some feedback, please stop formulating with artificial ingredients.
Please excuse us for any confusion, Marco, as we do use natural flavors in our coffee. However, to indicate that no nuts were used in Tropical Coconut Over Ice, we have listed the flavoring as artificial.

Can you froth espresso in an aeroccino 3?
We do not recommend placing anything other than milk (including espresso) into the Aeroccino.
The Barista is designed to handle more solid ingredients like honey and nut butters, up to and including solid chocolate pieces.
@@nespresso Don't think espresso is more solid or viscous than milk. I have made mochas with both a shot of espresso and liquid chocolate in my Aeroccino 3 without any problem.

When I do this with Ice - the ice cubes just melt... Must need some massive ice cubes!
I did see some kits where the ice tray is included and they did look quite big. I believe it's on the nespresso site under the iced package

@@Dipscovery I just used my machine for the first time yesterday. Just got it. Love it. I have huge ballers my freezer makes. I had to use 3 and they all melted. If you've never seen them look them up. They're monsters. From now on I'm going to refrigerate it first. Then when it's not as hot add it to the ice. I would have liked it colder and not as watered down. But I do live the machine so far. 💞
May I give an advice?
When you pour the coffee on the glass filled with ice, don't stir it, wait to get a bit colder and then pour it into another glass with ice.

Really good video, but I can't help think that using a non-name milk carton is silly... after all Nestle started out a a dairy brand, don't they own a company that makes milk and one more thing, why don't Nestle let Zoegas make Vertuo next pods to sell in grocerie stores, when Zoegas is one of the best coffee brands out there?

I find these ice coffees really don't work. The ice just gets diluted making the coffee taste weak and water like and if you don't add enough ice then it comes out Luke warm coffee. The tropical coconut I found tasted better hot than cold.
