    I tried it today! Honestly ¼cup of durian puree is so little you barely taste the durian. It was so nice and pleasant. If you follow the recipe closely and don't screw up your meringue, your cake shall be fantastic. Thank you apron!

    Baked this, super good except the durian smell is light. Can i add more durian puree & how much can i add? This durian cake is a keeper👍👏❤Thank you for sharing

    I did it last night and eat for morning breakfast! It’s so delicious. I only reduce the sugar to 5gm & the 2nd step 30gm. I used Olive extra virgin oil. The rest I follow as described. Thank you Apron. This is the channel I like so far... ♥️♥️♥️

    Hi just wanna ask, in the video you said it was stiff peaks but what i see in the video is firm peaks? So is it stiff peaks/firm peaks? Thankyou!

      Hi, both ways will work, if you want a fluffy cake, you can try stiff peaks, if you want a soft cake, can try firm peaks

      Hi,cake flour is more delicate than all purpose flour. can try to make,
      for every 1 cup of all purpose flour remove 2 Tbsp of flour,and replace 2 Tbsp of that with cornstarch

    Please note recipe says 30ml oil but i watched the video more than 3 times and saw the oil mark was at 50ml. Please clarify.

      Hi, this recipe only uses 20ml of vegetable oil, and the measuring cup used in the video can hold up to 50ml. The number on the right hand side of the measuring cup at 1:00 is the correct number

      Hi,that is the egg whites problem, you can try beat the egg white on high-speed until become bubble form, begin beat the egg whites on low speed added sugar separately for three times until firm peaks form, they become foamy and frothy it takes about 5-10 minutes to whip the eggs whites.

    Hi, I need your advice. My cake rose while baking but after a while the top part collapsed. When the cake is sliced, the bottom part is airy but the top part is a bit dense because it collapsed. Why is this so? Appreciate if you can help me.
