Just ordered 1lb of corn flour and the red tea. Your chamomile tea is Excellent. Love the smell and it helps me sleep.
Love what you're doing out there.
I hope the younger generations see how happy and content you are and realize they don't need to go into debt slavery with an over priced house, or take on a huge loan for an over priced car.
The old sayings about our possessions possessing us is SO true.

Absolutely love living within my means. If that means I have a hole in my sneakers but my fridge is full and the bills are paid that's OK with me. I don't care if anyone else knows I'm wealthy. I'm the only one that matters. Lol it's that selfish? Thank you for your purchase. I think you're going to like it.

That's the reason I went through your site instead of Amazon because I wanted to support you as much as possible and not wanting greedy Amazon keeping half or more.

@Shadowking81 ..Do you know who owns Amazon? & No, it's not Bezos lol. Blackrock & Vanguard - this is why Amazon's popularity status soared swiftly & their profound success was no coincidence.

Tip to save some time: Cut a plastic bottle in half. Put it on the scale. Now fill it till the desired weigh. Cut the plastic to that exact line. Now you know exactly how much volume takes to a specific weigh.
The scale has a function that can include the weight of the bottle. Because you sell different teas you will need different sizes of plastic bottles, you can easily put a tag on each.

Hi John. I’m a new subscriber. THE UNGRATEFUL PEASANT recommended your tea the other day. He had blue tea pictured. I thought I would come over here and see what you are all about. I’m going to check out your product line and order some things. I try as much as I can to support small business especially those that are like minded in nature. I want to congratulate you for making things happen for yourself off grid and with your business. Excellent job Sir.

I bought your red tea and enjoyed it, so I bought your 3 tea package. I haven't opened the green or blue tea yet because I am still using the red. I make a big batch extra strong and just add it to my glass of water as needed.

@@FrugalOffGrid - I've also bought the black powder. What is the best way to consume it as a beverage? I've been using it on the weekends when we eat meat. It's a good chicken seasoning.

    • @FrugalOffGrid

I just use it as a tonic every morning. I put a tablespoon in a cup add just enough water to dissolve it. I take it like a shot, chase it with my coffee and that's it. It does make good seasoning. It's great at regulating my bp and making my workouts better.

May 1 2022. For the last 3 days I made each of the 3 teas. All are excellent. I used 2 tb tea brewed in a glass teapot with 3 cups hot water. None need added sweetener. I like the red w/ 1 tsp agave syrup-just me...will continue drinking these teas. I hate reg green tea, flat on flavor.
This morning I made corn bread with the corn flour using 1953 recipe from "Better Homes and Garden" cookbook for "perfect corn bread." Yes it is and I think the corn flour is a positive contribution. It stays together when you pick it up and has a fall apart crumb texture in the mouth. Most cornbread today clumps in your mouth and needs a lot of liquid to get it down.
Yum! Buying more for my friends too.

Hey John I just noticed when watching this episode, your water filtration is in a HD bucket. It may be wise to find a food grade 5 gallon for your drinking water systems. Just to eliminate any risk of consuming any unwanted contamination

Yeah. I’ve had the filters for a few years. I just went to Harbor Freight and bought a couple of buckets. I figure if I feel that it’s not good for me then I can line the lower bucket with a 5 gal Mylar storage bag and just run the spigot through it.

Hey I have an off-grid survival question for Arizona. It's well knowing that somebody can get vitamin C from Pine Needle tea. This could be a real Lifesaver for anybody that lives near pine trees. We only have junipers. Do you think it's safe to drink a tea made from your local Juniper leaves?

    • @FrugalOffGrid

I like watching your video's. You have so many good ideas. Sorry, I did not see the video, how did you pick your location? Do you have many people you get to interact with? I am hoping to join a community or be social... looking how to find a spot, any suggestions!?!?!? Thank you, your energy is very friendly and I like the calm.

    • @FrugalOffGrid
      @FrugalOffGrid  2 роки тому +2

My location happened pretty naturally. I was laid off after Covid and didn't have much money. Land is cheap here mostly because the climate is rough. I enjoy a challenge and liked the price. As far as community, I'm in the middle of nowhere. I really enjoy the solitude. There are people who like communities however. I bet if you Google, "off grid community" or "homesteading community" you'll find one. Happy you enjoy the videos.

I remember you saying you had near a six figure job before you moved off-grid. Did you have any investments or 401k to help you get out here? Did you spend everything you had on the land and some supplies? Just curious. Thanks man, love your channel and hoping to get myself off-grid within a couple years!

Welcome! I just started my homestead about 2 years ago. I didn't know anything about gardening when I started. I've always sources the highest quality ingredients I can, mostly non GMO. It will be a long time before I can grow enough to support my sales completely but I did just plant a row of hibiscus and I'll plant mint as it warms up. If those go well I'll offer them at a premium until I can fully sustain all of my herbs. Cheers!

Hi John, do you have a blend of tea for allergies? Also I just found out I have a retinal tear in my eye, causing a lot of issues in my right eye. So do you have a blend of teas for eye healing? I would need bilberry, luteine, etc. Is this a possibility? I don't want to go blind. Im nomadic 2 yrs and must be able to drive. Im not taking surgery, the risk is too great and I know GOD & right herbs, minerals will heal the wall & retina back together. Now I have to find acres some where in warm weather in our nation, USA and prepare. Im staying in my van, but have to figure out how to work if this issue keeps getting worse. Thank you in advance.
