You have to disable Parental Controls: Screen Time; Content & Privacy; iTunes & App Store Purchases; Deleting Apps-> Allow 😢

didn't work on an ipad, no delete option came up for any app when holding icon down just to share or put on home screen in app library. any help would be great Trying to get rid of Alexa app totally off an ipad.

I tried to permanently delete an app from the App Library and the only option is to HIDE it. It will not permanently delete. Even if you have an app on your Home Screen and you remove it, it has the option to DELETE, but it will still be in your library. 😮
