It depends on which ecosystem you are invested in. The integration of all the Apple apps across Apple devices is very powerful. I personally have an iCloud+ subscription and use a custom email domain. By keeping everything in native Apple apps I am able to leverage the power of each app along with the built in connectivity between them. This has created a very powerful productivity system across all my Apple products. If you are invested in the Google ecosystem it makes sense to use the Google apps so you have the same level of productivity. Both companies want to lock us in to their ecosystem so we tend to loose a lot of the power of each app when you try to combine them. The same holds true if we add Microsoft to the equation. Unfortunately, users have to choose one option to get the full power of the ecosystem.

Thank you!
This app misses one key view: a monthly view where every day has enough space to actually show the items on that day. The dots you mention can mean anything from a Birthday of a far removed relative or an all day very important work event. This poor destinktion makes the monthly view nearly useless. Greetings from Germany
This may come in iOS 18 - let's see when the final version is released!
@@ShivsStudio That would be fantastic, it would make the third party app obsolet that I have to use now.
@@ilkyway5854 what do you use currently?
@@ShivsStudio Calendars 5 but they are changing it into subscription model only and I hate that. Happy to pay for mayor upgrades once in a while but forced subscription… so if Apple can give me a good monthly overview I am happy to use their stock app. Greetings from Germany
@@ilkyway5854 Have you tried using Fantastical?

I wonder why nobody seems to be bothered by the Apple calendar still not providing a decent month view, unlike basically all other 3rd party calendar apps….it makes me nervous to not see the current month being displayed in a grid, to have an at a glance view of free and busy slots….that’s why I still can’t use Apple calendar, although I love all the other fancy features.
That’s been raised in the comments a few times, seems like a popular feature that Apple’s missing.
If Carlsberg made tutorials.....
Hahaha thank you!
I wish location links would be automatically opened in google maps instead of fucking apple maps
😂
Somehow ended up in this video after porto beat arsenal 1-0 xD
There's always the second leg 😂
@@ShivsStudio honestly wish it didn't 🤣
@@angopi98 Porto fan?
Travel time?
Useful for getting there.
Useless for getting back.
You can either set up a separate event for getting back, or check out my video on Google Maps which has a feature that tells you when to leave to get home on time.
Bro is Supporting Arsenal,,, me I'm supporting Liverpool 😅
Good result on 4th Feb!
@@ShivsStudio😢 🫣😂
@@ShivsStudio It’ll be close this year between Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool.
@@TJ-22 Definitely, Arsenal have a tendency to struggle during and after the Christmas period so the fact we're still 2nd means we have a fighting chance.
@@ShivsStudio City has DeBruyne back, but has a lot of tough games coming up. Hoping for a draw between City and Liverpool. Looks like that could help Arsenal.
„Use Apple Calendar Like a Pro“ - shows how to add calendar by pressing „Add Calendar“……
You have to know the basics before moving onto the pro tips. Did you know the rest of the features mentioned later in the video?
Gunners calendar 😂
Gotta be done 😂
Arsenal 👎🏼
Not doing too badly huh 😉
@@ShivsStudio I’m a Liverpool fan 🥴🥴🥴
Ouch
Apple Calender is a child's toy compared to Google's Calendar app.
I don't think I have anything to add after that!
Love ❤️ how clean Apple Calendar 📅 is and also love how reminders and Apple Mail and Calendar work together ⚡️❤️🏁
I agree, the compatibility between iOS apps is awesome.
There’s literally NOTHING simple about Apple Calendar it’s sooooo complicated
What would you do to improve it?
