Uuur10 It was not intended to be used this way. I wanted to come up with a way of making it more dynamic and realistic without the need for mods, using only what was available in the editor. Maybe they will call next time, before they finalise R&D 😄
@@PewPewDevices even so, there are so many settings in the editor and I was a near beginner with amps. Yamaha did post a few demos but didn't explain much. That being said I downloaded your patches yesterday and all I can say is, amazing! I wasn't sure they'd work with my THR10C but they did. With a 335 type guitar the Vintage patch gave me superb cleans, with vastly improved feel and clarity!
im trying to understand what you did with the "mod". it clearly sounded so much better, theres no doubt it works, however what did you really do? just work with the high an low filters of the delay that will unable the delay to work however it changes your tone overall? is that it? if so perfect, i dont use delay anyway aha
dunno 😃. however I left it last time. got the patch saved on the unit, so when I hook up the laptop I'll check. heavy use of the delay filters though. That much I know.
well, that's what I'm trying to emulate. Mainly with the filters. The THR is too shrill for my personal taste, that's why I thought up this scheme. I've essentially shifted the shelving with the filters, the EQ responds differently for each model now, and is to my ears more authentic, especially for recording DI and with microphones. doesn't translate well on a smartphone camera though. 😃. Have you tried it yet?

You have a great tone and your playing is excellent!! I enjoy your videos!! I have not tried the THR yet. I am looking for something to practice with and get inspired with. I need something small because I live in an apartment. I have not found anything digital that I like yet. I will check out the THR at Guitar Center. I hope I can get your tone!! Brent Weeks, a bit. Don’t have any of his albums though😀 I’m a fingerstyle player too, and my strats are set up similar to his I think (full tone pull-up on the G string). I never play strats actually, got tons of them but prefer Teles.😀

nunofrg yep, that's exactly right. Delay time on minimum, delay level up full and then you just sweep the filters. As simple as that😀
