They will go out of business if they don't make their products easy to get. Like 99.9999 percent of other products today. It's not 1998 anymore. You shouldn't have to call them directly.

Sound-wise how does this one compare to the DD Redline series 6.5"? I'm curious to know the difference how wattage affects the quality or if it only sounds louder?
Lil monsters, you think 4 1506s in ported enclosure would sound better deeper then 2 2508s? Thats my options 4 1506s in 2 cube net box or 2 2508s 1.5net. Unless i do a seatlift and then the 2 2508 box would be around 2.3 net
It depends on if you have the high hump under your seat or the flat hump, It doesnt fit well with high hump under the seat. The others it does, They also make a slim version of this box but I feel its very disapointing sound wise.
After looking into that company I just feel they are a much smaller company and only a few years in the market. I can't say that is a bad subwoofer, it looks really nice , but they are too small of a company for me to purchase product from there fore I wouldn't have the answer your looking for.

Have you heard any of their new 11 series? I'm considering replacing my Audison 10's with 1112's, chasing some volume at 30-40 hz but I have a smaller box (about 1.1-1.2 cuft per woofer).
No , My market doesnt support woofers in that range very well, when they do its Focal, I tend to do more high end subwoofers from DD or super small woofers.
I explained this in the comments , sorry about that. I was having issues during editing time to do the overlay. I have since then learned how to do it in Sony vegas so new videos will show an overlay.

Great amp, and it would give you the ability to have control over them. Could you pop 4 of them with that amp ? Yes, Could you also make it sound insane and have the best sound they offer with that amp ? Yes.
If you only had 600 watts Id consider more surface area in this case. A DD Slim 10 or 12. They are not designed like typical Slimlines and hit pretty damn well. They would be my choice in that scenario.
You can always check with Fixmyspeaker dot com and see if they have any parts, and I also located a place in Florida that does do some older cerwin vega repairs.
I usually stretch a sub to break it in by standing on it lol jk. But fr ill press evenly very hard on some subs. Hard enough is when u hear spider stretch sounds like tearing but as long as its not best buys subs lol it damn well better be built for the stretch.
I have a pair I blowed and keep meaing to rebuild, But they went far above their rated, and sometimes during testing you will lose some woofers even good ones. The bass was some of the cleaness Ive heard.
Try doing box rise with a 100.00 Fluke :) I Love Fluke meters, but sometimes they do not have what you need. There would be no market for the SMD AMM-1

But theres gotta be an easy formula to use based on voltage drop or impedance rise not necessarily called box rise but the fs of woofer n boxes change that so you get a difference from box to box. You ever track if its higher rise in a smaller sealed or higher rise with box size???

The 1506 is superior in the sound catagory, thats what its made for, The spl is just a by product of it being built well.

Do the seatlift with 2 2508s. Get you a seatlift from LMC welding, you will be much happier since they will have the airspace they need.

What was that sound @ 2:53? I have 2 1506's in a ported soec box and they do that when I turn the volume up too high.
