This channel has a vibe that has become a space to just wonder about the beauty of things through the eyes of your own vision. I noticed you've also proven that recycling shots or similar shots in a different context adds a unique value to posting a new film. Fujifilm indeed has it's own standards. Can't wait for the next one.
Glory to God! Thank you so much. I heard a quote from a filmmaker, and I don't remember who it was, or the exact saying, so I'm paraphrasing, but it was along the lines of "you never know how two shots are going to work together." Sometimes that random shot I have sitting on the hard drive is a perfect cut for something I'm working on. Consequently - I never want to delete anything, but ultimately at times I have to, which - yes, I have regretted. Fujifilm is my jam - it's also the only camera system I have any experience with, so there's that, but I really do enjoy using it, which is part of the process for sure. Thanks so much for checking this out! The new video (now basically a short film) is shaping up really well - I'll be interested to hear your thoughts when it's done. God bless!
@@DarylCatholicArtist Lumix was my other option when I got my first mirrorless - the XH1. My friend was selling his XH1 really cheap - and he told me it was good - otherwise I may have grabbed a Lumix. They're underrated.
@@DarylCatholicArtist Yes! There's a GxAce video where he talks about how cameras don't age and become obsolete the same way computers do - and I was like, THIS is what I'm talkin' about! You might like it if you haven't seen it yet. Gx is one of my favorites.
Praise God! Thank you so much for the kind words! This quick vid turned into a rather personal little journey through life lately. I appreciate you checking it out, and I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks again so much as always! God bless!
Again, you know how I see and appreciate your work. Another wonderful cine tour of brilliant framing, lighting leads, and narration arch . And, shot on the XH-1, a very, very capable tool...in the right hands. Bravo, bravo.
Praise God! Thank you so much. I never know how a video will land, and this one's no different, but I thought it was a nice change, especially for being a random idea, and never having shared any photos in my videos. And yes, the XH1 is great - slept on for sure. I think the only thing I really would add if I could (in a minimal sort of way - obviously it's not a perfect camera, and there are dream specs for sure) would be color chrome fx, and chrome fx blue. Those settings are pretty cool for colors in-camera. Thanks again so much, and God bless!
Praise God! Thanks so much for checking out this video. I hadn't planned to put this on UA-cam until I realized that there were so many special moments sitting on the hard drive, that pieced together so well. Thanks again, and God bless!
Man - Glory to God. Thank you as always. I realized I have a lot of cool moments just tucked away that no one has ever really seen - and it just so happened I was gonna try and put together a video. It turned out well. Praise God.
Praise God! Thank you so much! I have some some incredible friends in my corner who make it easy to get beautiful images - it wouldn't be the same without them.
Praise God! Thank you so much! Yes! I sifted through some of these shots I hadn't seen in a while, and was like, "I gotta throw these in!" Teaming up with Batman in Houston has been a blessing. I mean - photos and videos of Batman is pretty darn super cool. Even more, he's an awesome friend, and it all just started from a random "hey, could we do a photoshoot?" message on Instagram. Thanks again for checking this out, and God bless!
Glory to God! Thanks so much for checking it out! Are you looking for the photo or video settings? They're pretty similar tbh - my video settings are: Classic Chrome - DR 100 - WB Auto (Current favorite shift R1 B-5, and the setting changes to "color grade" in camera. In other words, I will set the temperature and shift for the look I'm trying to get, but will frequently use auto, unless something will be causing a big shift - like introducing a blue object etc.) NR 0 - H+1 - S+1 - Color+4 - Sharp-1 Let me know how you like the settings! Lately I've been really enjoying video with a Tiffen ND, which has an obvious color cast, but I like the look a lot. Cameras get old too fast these days and don't often get a chance to shine before a new one comes along. That's where we come in :P @@nigelianzamora
