I dont know why it took 2 years for the algorithm to show my this video because I'm always scouring YT for more Lardies games. Glad it did though this was great! Great editing and the flow of the game was told really well. Excited to see more, fingers crossed maybe you could do an O'group AAR. That game is great and needs more representation on YT! :)
A superbly presented AAR, with bonus points for novelty. Not just visually impressive figures & terrain and coherent narrative, but historically informative. I had no idea that Brasil fielded troops in the European theatre. Melikes learning new stuff. Subbed.
Great video and dry interesting Orbats which the flexibility of CoC really allows/encourages. Thanks for sharing and would love to see more quick action reports like this.
Excellent. A rarely seen theater, good camera and editing work, and great enthusiasm all work to make this an excellent Battle Report. I hope we see further actions of these D-Day Dodgers soon to come
One the best video AAR I have seen, great background info, music and sound effects with great narration, great work and yes would like to see more of your AAR. cheers John Bond.
@@hendrikvanleeuwen9110 Thank you! We have some resources in the description, but if there's something particular you're looking for let me know and I'll see what I can do. Thanks!
Amazing terrain! You should drop a line to Sarissa; I think they'd love to see what you've done with their terrain system! By the way, we've found that when playing the CoC probe scenario, the attacking side that needs to get across the board never loses...if you set up on the long edges of the board. So we always set up the opposing forces on the short edges. Again, simply a fantastic video! Love to see more like that!
Very impressed. Terrain great - scenario novel, I have to confess I was not aware there were active Brazillian troops in Italy '44. Reportage smooth and flowing. Well done!
I liked this a lot! I am not familiar with the rules of the game, but this was able to give me a good overview of the action while keeping it exciting.
i like the format! bit of a small episode of WW2 :P. Do you by any chance want to share how to make or where to buy those terrain tiles? Tanks in advance :D
excellent batrep, the attention to detail and narration really were top notch. I'm curious if David was using the new solo play "AI" that was published in their holiday magazine, or if he just played both sides? Would love to hear his feedback if he was using the new AI rules!
I played and enjoyed the solo rules, but they don't have the same "feel" as a standard CoC game, so for the AAR I decided it would be better to just play both sides and run a standard game. Might be an idea to do a little video review comparing the two experiences, since I did play a solo game on the same table setup.
For this battle, David played a standard Chain of Command game just playing both sides. However, he has played the solo rules and we may be looking at a video detailing the differences between the two!
Today the gothic line is full of teenagers and older people who should know better dressed in black listening to death metal and being miserable....cool.....well not cool.....spose that's the point.

A tutorial will be coming eventually! For now, they are Sarissa terrain tiles. Tanks for watching!
Came for the Brazillians (like, actually wtf) subbed for the extreme quality!

There's definitely more on the way! Thanks for watching!
Fantastic! Would love to see some Spanish Civil War action featuring the Lincoln Brigade!
That would be great! We'll see what happens!

May I ask what terrain you were using? Is that modular terrain from a specific company?
The tiles are the Sarissa terrain tiles! Buildings and bridge by Grand Manner. Thanks for watching!
@@GatecrasherPod Thanks so much! And thanks for the amazing video!
Great job on the solo battle report.
I sure some of us would like to see just how you play a solo game.
For this battle, David played a standard Chain of Command game just playing both sides. However, he has played the solo rules and we may be looking at a video detailing the differences between the two!
Well done, Good to see a "minor" Allied nation getting some deserved attention in a WW2 game. Look forward to seeing more of the same.
Appreciate it! We definitely have more on the way!
