Great stuff! Re: Fallschirmjagers...don't forget the Errata that has their Rating at +14 for Elite and +5 for Regular.
Support selection can really make or break a force in CoC. As a Soviet Tank Rider player, Scouts are absolutely mandatory on the attack, but never bought to defend (with less points a Maxim or DSHK are best). Snipers are outstanding 2-way options...

Great video and a good introduction to force building. I always see lots of comments from people asking about force lists in COC, so this is really useful for them!

The CoC calculator is very nice and allows you to make platoons that the game doesn't cover, and determine a Force Rating.
For example a platoon of partisans or Arabs,, that just happen to unexpectedly enter the battlefield.
Or as another example a LRDP platoon or Allied Commando Platoon.
Endless options depending on how you choose to play.

Thank you I always had a hard time understanding the army building list. Would like to see you do one where you build a list and play the army too.

Excellent - that's really useful for anyone getting started with CoC - also appreciate the link to the Consolidated Arsenal spreadsheet as I didn't know it existed - thanks!

Good explanation and links -- I was just thinking about how CoC is focused on platoon level command so it closely models the official TOE at full strength based on historic training manuals. As written it doesn't easily account for the variations that could happen after units have seen action (understrength, scrounged weapons, etc). I've been prepping some figures and came across a pack of US para BARs I bought, which aren't on the list but were used by men who lost their leg bags and scavenged them. The CoCulator can help with this, and with units carrying lots of SMGs, or those ad hoc early hours D-day units like at Brecourt Manor.

I would only have notated that with most non-dedicated combat vehicles you have to factor in that they don't come crewed.
I always thought it was a weird design choice to have to cut into your fighting units to have a guy drive your halftrack and another man the MG.

Any idea where else to source those resources you linked to in the description? The links are down for me.
