@@Da_Infamous Decent analysis, but the most important factor BY FAR... It's Phil Hellmuth. With these blinds, for this money, Phil isn't capable of bluffing at the flop with only a flush draw. I could see Phil doing this with either top set or a straight. As soon as Phil starts talking and suggesting it could be something else (such as a set), it being the flopped straight is the only thing that makes sense.
Phil got scared of the flush draw and possibly a little too excited about his hand, that’s why he jammed…and the fact that he’s a tournament player, not a cash game player!
Surprised Phill did this being a long time pro , Its something a beginner player would do . There could be an argument to say you could jam here against rec players & get a call , but vs Doug Polk not a chance you getting paid off.

Phil played his hand horrible, he made it so obvious he got the goods the 2nd best hand possible folded. He is horrible at cashgames. He has 0 clue how to play
As usual, Gabe Kaplan's analysis is correct. Phil raises preflop, and then goes all in with a super coordinated flop. Obviously, he's playing like he's got a set, maybe pocket aces, and he's trying to chase out, or get value from, someone with a flush or straight draw. He's playing exactly like someone who is making it too expensive for a drawing hand to see the next two cards. Doug Polk's decision was based solely on his read of Phil Hellmuth, not on the normal play of the hand.
