instead of watching this before i bought one to see what its like, i watched it to help me repack their super awkward box for while we move LOL thank you for the help!
Don't ever think I had anyone say they watched to rebox something so that's really cool. I'm glad I could help. I'm hard at work producing new content, get ready for more learning, discovery and fun. Share the videos you like and please subscribe to the channel so you don't miss out on all the upcoming videos. Perhaps there is something else I can help you rebox, haha. There's more reviews, DIY, how to's and cool motivation to come. Thanks again for watching and the comment. Good luck with the move.
You get a “Like, subscribe and bell” from me. Great video. I am about to buy that type of Ring doorbell so I can follow your instructions, which were very thorough indeed. Stay forever blessed.
Thank you so much for all the love, I appreciate you. Good luck with the door bell can't wait to hear how things go. Thanks again for watching , subscribing, liking, hitting the bell and the comment.
We ended up exchanging this model for the slimmer version ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx0jZ_lGlDVJhDnmagEU8gn47cmfPNlLQU because it was too wide for the only door trim area that made sense to mount it on. However, we should have just noted the dimensions prior to purchasing. Otherwise, we love the doorbell. It works perfectly, and the video is very clear, even at night.
Hello, I am looking to buy a ring camera is it difficult to recharge the battery once it dies? I have a vision impairment and I’ll be having someone help me install it for me as it would be difficult for me to install on my own. Thank you!
Thanks for watching and a great question. You want to go with something small, making sure the screws still has plenty of material to grab a hold of as you screw into the wood. So you want to go with a 1/16 or 5/64. Hope this helps, these are the types of things I want to help people with on my UA-cam channel. Perhaps you could do a little favor for me. Please subscribe to the channel, like and share the videos you find useful and interesting. There's a lot of exciting things to come. More reviews, DIY, how to's and cool motivation to come. Thanks again for watching and the question. Good luck, let me know how it goes.
Wouldn't it make sense to attach these in the middle of the door where the visitor will be standing? I have watched a lot of videos now and everyone puts them to the side of the door and i can't work out why.
I got one from Amazon during black Friday. Came with the Echo. It was the wired power one, it was easy to install I just had to deal my doorbell being on a brick wall lol My drill didn't like that to much
Where you able to use the included drill bit? I decided to not wire mine because of the angle the camera would have been at didn't give me the vision I wanted. Even with the included angle plates it didn't give me enough front yard vision. Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment. Please do me a favor hit that like button and subscribe to the channel. More reviews, DIY, how to's, and cool motivation to come. Thanks again for watching and the comment.
I hadn't ever heard of the Echo until I bought the second ring bell tonight.😂. Best Buy included it with the purchase. Wasn't aware that there were "smart lightbulbs either. Omg, welcome me to the 21st century. 😆😆😆😆
Great question Rob, you can in fact set it up for your own account provided a few things have been done. Download the app first and set up your account. Then open the unit and scan the QR code if available. It should let you add from here, if not you will have to call Ring support because it may still be registered by the previous owner. Hope this helps, sorry for slow response.
Sorry for the slow response. I would say no, there is a security screw that needs to be taken out before the battery can be removed. So they would have to have the correct size bit to remove the tool. Thanks for watching and the comment.
Ring currently does not make an app for the computer but you can access your devices by logging in on Ring.com. You have a dashboard here and will be able to access the same items. It appears I need to make a video on accessing your Ring dashboard via the website. I will add that to the list. Please subscribe to the channel, like and share the videos you find useful and interesting. Don't want you to miss out on that video when it comes out might even give you a shoutout. Thanks for watching and asking a question, hope my answer helps.
Excellent video. Just want to remind everyone that, if you have a flat wall such as In this video, then install as shown. But if you want to use the included "plastic angle adapters", then you don't need to drill the "4 holes " and instead line up the "plastic angle adapter " and create the "marks" for the "2 holes" (top hole and bottom hole) then you just mount the ring camera on that bracket and proceed to screw in the "4 screws" into the "angle bracket" lol """"😎😎😎😎👍👍"""""

If you're Canadian, DO NOT BUY!!! Not only is Ring NOT compatible with Google home, which I found out after I sunk money into 2 Ring Video Spotlights, their subscription plans are different too! They are more expensive for every country outside of the US. And NO where on the website do they mention that the pricing is only valid for US customers only!!! Good technology, but they keep on nickeling and diming you. Stay far away from Ring, unless you have $$$ to shell out. They wanted me to pay $100 for 2 cameras! Hahaaaha!
How much is the plan in Canada? I pay $100 for the year and every device I add is included in that cost. I personally don't want the option of talking to my alarm system. It is compatible with Alexa I just don't use that feature. Going in the app is simple and I can see what's going on within the privacy of my device. I currently have 4 cameras. Doorbell, floodlight, spot light and Stick up.
@@DanealLanier $50 per device or $150 for the protection plus plan. So I have 2 cameras. Front and back. That's $100 for an entire year. I was led to believe on the website that it was $30 per device. Never mentioned once that the price was only for US customers, nor it it mentioned that it was only compatible with Alexa. My home is set up for Google home not Alexa. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Hello my friend moved an left the ring camera. Can I reprogram it to use
@@user-hx6us6fh3nyour probably have to look online to figure out how. I doubt a common user will know right off

Very clear information. Thanks.
Thank you for this video. I am prepared to purchase a Ring. All uncertainty about being able the one up is gone.
Good job! Very helpful! Thanks a bunch. 🌻
Question can you use the Wi-Fi on your smartphone or do you have to have Wi-Fi hooked up to your house
Where is the Ring overview app video? Can't seem to find it
Can you use it in the Philippines? I just brought one here in Australia
Did it came with a protected by ring sticker?

So I just bought one but I’m confused do I need to by a chime to go with my doorbell ring?
If you want to use the door bell function of it. You can also use any Alexa device too.
What size drill bit should be used if pre-drilling wood?

I moved into a house that has that same Ring you are installing. Can I activate it and use it myself, or do I need special codes to activate it?

great #ring vid
Which breaker to turn off!???
Might be under front porch, porch light. Should be connected to the front of the house.
When I say "under" I means written as something that has to do with front of house.
Mine did not come with the extra brackets
Can the battery be easily stolen?

How was yall day sis
So if the WiFi wasn’t connected will it still work
No, it needs WiFi in order for it to work... otherwise it's a "outside wall decoration "
Ring did not give me a masonry drill bit.
How I reviewed my door bell

You have to let people know that it won't work with Google mesh.
