I love all your content. Extremely valuable. thanks. Not sure if this info will be helpful but, Japanese bikes have Japanese Industrial Standard screws which are different than Phillips. Phillips are designed to cam out to prevent ham fisted manufacturing assemblers from over tightening fasteners. JIS can be tightened more than Philips and the proper screw driver to use on all Japanese motorcycles is JIS screwdrivers. It’s worth buying a set. You won’t be stripping out JIS screw like happens with a mismatched driver like Phillips style in a JIS screw.

do you leave a zip tie on the break handle with the reservoir cap off overnight? is that what you said you were going to mention?

Thank you for your awesome tutorial! I see that you manually bled as soon as you got done air bleeding. Do you pneumatic air / manually bleed each bleeder as you go in sequence? I went through and completely air bled my GL1800 a couple times. I followed up / finished by manually bleeding a couple times. Question; Are you manually bleeding at each bleeder right after air bleeding individually? In other words.... pneumatic air bleed > Manual bleed move onto the next bleeder in sequence > Repeat? If so, my thoughts are that your way would be better than my way instead of going through the entire system looking for any air left in the line. Thanks again. Great Job!! 👍

What is the purpose of putting the zip tie on the brake lever overnight? I’ve seen people do that before

It forces the piston all the way in in the caliper thus opening the caliper to release the air bubbles out of the into the atmosphere over night.

Try a small impact screw driver. Or any screwdriver that has a solid fit in the screw. Then hit the screwdriver with moderate force with a hammer while trying to turn it. Might take a while but seems to work well enough most of the time

I don't believe you will see any bubbles coming up through the master cylinder unless you are squeezing the brake lever.

You will if you’re pushing against the caliper and there’s air in the line.
