pump the brakes.... not even close to as good as the original. I have seen skynyrd twice (new skynyrd) and it was still better.
Except for the vocals (there's only ONE Ronnie) this performance's truly amazing. Great musicians with amazing talent.

I was in a bar in BC back 30 years ago , there was a guy playing this song and the people were taking up collections for this guy to play it over and over,(on his guitar) he played this no less than 10 times. He was real good. Damn I miss that day. I payed over $40.00 in donations. It was worth every dollar.

This solo is one of the best thing I've ever heard. Very emotional first part (almost crying to it), then one of the best bangers ever. And damn this band rocked it. Legends !
I've seen a few of the Classis Rock Show performances and they have done some amazing covers of Meat Loaf and Status Quo tracks but this is totally unbelievable, This band should be in the Rock N Roll hall of fame.....
The more clips i watch of this extraordinarily talented young group simply blows my mind! Very very nostalgic and thank you so much for what you are doing for the past and history of proper good Ole rock n roll!!!

As a young adult in the 70's, I thought I'd never wish to hear Free Bird again in my lifetime.
But the beauty and purity of these two great vocalists and the laudable musicianship of every single one of these artists makes this tired old song a whole new thing.

I am loving the guitarist's 'walkabout' at around 5:00 minutes. All awesome stuff and a great rendition of a classic.
ZZ top cover band did that in our local rock club the yardbirds in Grimsby a couple of years back when they went walk about and ended up behind the bar pulling themselves a pint each while still playing.Classic.

Saw Lynard Skynard at Knebworth in 1976. The were so good that the audience booed the Rolling Stones when they came on because they started doing a 'Ok, lets just get this over with' performance.
The duelling guitars for this song still gives me the shivers. Awesome! Such a loss to the world of music.

This is the exact reason why I never cared about playing any original music that I’ve written. I just absolutely LOVE playing the songs that I grew up loving like Freebird.
The vibes you guys create are sensational. Big congratulations. This kind of performance is missing from today's times.

We used to finish with this in our band in the mid-to-late 70s. It has the benefit of being not only fabulous to play but you can keep going as long as you wish just jamming at the end. We played Stonehenge one year and this was our finale...kept it going for 40 minutes..best 40 minutes of my life!
