I live in Chattanooga and am glad to hear I'm not just biased thinking it's good.
It’s great stuff I enjoy their Bibs and some sib the most some of their stuff goes a little extreme for me but this port finish was my favorite to date a real home run

Haha yeah this is worth a backup if you can find it. I think their BIB series or the Sib offerings are better than the cask 111 but its not bad for the price. I think the port is the best they have done though

The Chattanooga White Port is excellent and blows away their BIB offerings. For my palate however, I prefer the single barrel as that strong caramel flavor just hits my sweet spot. Great review as always.
Yeah I get that could be day dependent for me as well that huge caramel bomb on the sib is great. Imagine if they would have put the port at cask strength though

Still haven’t pulled the trigger on Chattanooga yet. I’m lucky in my area they carry quite a few of them. I’ve certainly seen the bib and cask strength. Not sure about the finished bottle yet. Great review though and now I’ll be looking. Enjoy!!
Definitely if you can get this you won’t be disappointed. For their other offerings if you are just trying them out I would go with the Bib spring series if you can
Oh man, your enthusiasm for this is gonna be bad for my wallet. Lol. I have no less than three stores in my area that carry it for $60. Sounds like a no-brainer buy, even if, like you, I prefer finishes on my ryes and not my bourbons.

Hi BB! Excellent content as usual. I picked one of these up! Sounded too good to pass up. One thing, I think it’s 5 years old “including “ the 2 years in port barrels. So, unfortunately I don’t think it’s 7 years old. It’s still a good value if it’s 5, but 7 would have been an incredible value. Popping it open this weekend. Cheers!
Oh you know I did hear in 2024 they can include finishing in total age now on the label but I figured because they split it out it was in addition either way though 5 is older than normal for them if it’s that instead of 7

I just saw where the Chattanooga 12th Anniversary Founders blend is coming out soon and the Spring 2020 BIB is supposed to come out in June
I feel like June is summer haha but I think they were pretty late last year on the spring Bibs
I am gonna make a big statement, that Chattanooga white port might be the best sub 100 proof bourbon I ever had. My bottle lasted only 2 weeks, I hope I can find another.
That’s a bold statement but I’m struggling to think of anything I enjoy more at that proof point
I really can’t think of anything I enjoy this much less than 100 proof. This bottle kicks the shit out of old fitz 10 and old fitz 8 among many other tater juice. I really do love the old fitz lineup.
Chattanooga may be an underrated distillery, but that's okay - more for those of us, who love it! Angel's Envy is over-priced - good but over-priced.
Haha I think if they keep doing things like this port finish they will start to get more attention and I agree angels enjoy is good but overpriced
You’ll love the new Founders if you enjoy the SB091. MB: 12% 1816RES 60% SB091 28% INFINITY.
Last years was 25% 1816, 50% SB091 and 25% Infinity

What was the 10th founders? I enjoyed 10 more than 11 so hopefully 12 is a return towards the flavor profile of 10

You may be a fan of the B002 and high 1816 MB then. The B002 classified by them has the profile of “sweet smoke, brown butter”
@@holdenmullaney1081I may be then. I know I’m a big SB091 fan to me it has less single malt notes which I’m not a fan of but the others I’m always curious wish they would do like a smaller mini pack of all their mash bills

Haha he is the man but no the 13th colony rye came from elixir wine and spirits in Spring Hill TN my buddy lives in that town
