You are doing a heck of a job up there! I admire your tenacity & perseverance. I truly hope that you can resolve the water issue on your walkway & floating dock. Your videos are always interesting...a little bit of everything...makes it very special. That's one massive fire pit for making wonderful big fires in a cold & damp environment! I love your passion for improving your territory.
That set is used to trap pine marten. They use either a small leg hold trap wired to the leaning log, which is what I think you discovered or a small conibear inside of a box with the bait placed at the back of the box.
I love watching The making of the fire. Everything from the beginning to the end of it. It's very hypnotic and very soothing so thank you. You could probably just do entire half hour shows of nothing but cutting trees down, trimming, and hauling branches to the burn pile. Which reminds me, I need to start my burn pile today!
Enjoyed your video, excellent content, love the channel and amazing cabin life.your pipes on the dock maybe a little high for the wing strut on a float plane, cheers man thanks for sharing.
Yeah, I was wondering why the under cabin excavation..isn't that just going to weaken the footings holding up the cabin or cause erosion that will eventually do so?

Would be nice if you make a video explaining what your plans are for the cabin and the surroundings .

love watching all the progress! really impressed by your work ethic. Do you think you will bring your family out there at some point for a vacation?
Have you considered a rain catchment setup for your cabin water usage?
Vc precisa fazer uma caixa de madeira com alças de corda para carregar sua lenha cortada .... Para dentro de casa😊
If water gets THAT high, ya got whole lot more problems. 🤣
When the lake freezes, do you think it will split the ABS pipes?
Is there no area of the pond where you could source some rocks to use around the cabin dock area?
