You guys are amazing and you do have significant knowledge about Afrikan hair. How I wish the (youthful) Ghanaian ladies here on the motherland knew a little about their hair, it's texture and treatment because they'd be less inclined to wear weaves, perms and blonde hair and appreciate their Afrikan hair. Love you guys mmwa
I am 4c. Curl Mix works but you must stay in the warm shower lock your bathroom door this is your time and saturate your hair with water. Detangle with your fingers to save your hair and grow. Stay in the shower. Don't move the curtain my 4c girls. I swear.
I just received my order a few days ago and used it for my daughter and son (both age 12) they have combination 3b and 4a. It left a lot of residue in their hair. I didn't notice any more definition than using curl activator gel but I love the smell and the detangling of the conditioner was amazing. I'm noticing that it's not necessarily the hair type but hair porosity. Both of my kiddos have low porosity. I'll rewash their hair and try again. Low porosity has a harder time receiving moisture so I'll stay mindful of that when I rewash their hair! 🙏🏿❤️
I learned in hair school that you rinse the hair very well to get as much dirt out of hair as possible. The first shampoo you use enough shampoo to wash as much dirt out as possible. After that you use just a dime size of shampoo. The cleaner the hair the less shampoo you need .
First things first....are you using one of our 4-step wash and go systems: www.curlmix.com/products/vanilla-berry-wash-go-system-with-organic-castor-oil-for-strengthening-hair-step-1-4?variant=16023386816602
I got a stiff afro as well on my first pass/try. I will try again. *is the twisting essential? I need to invest in an infuser dryer. I also washed out a silky press, does that have anything to do with the stiffness?
Her hair looks so healthy and beautiful

4a here. Water Water and more water is the key for my low porosity hair. All the water makes me use less product too.

Looks great but what do we do at night so the curls remain for the rest of the work week?
That looks great! My hair won’t do that, I’ve tried everything, I always end up with a stiff fro.

Cam someone explain what he meant by the criss cross then went in at a 90. degree? Does he mean smoothed/raked downwards then sideways?
Just got my curlMix kit. I'm hoping that it works for my 4c tightly coil hair
Her hair is gorgeous!!!
They really GASSING TF out of her.
Hello....I don't own a hair dryer nor a blow dryer. Would this system be just as effective if I let my hair air dry?
My daughter said I have “Civil rights” hair!!! It’s soooooooo thick. I sure hope this works because I can’t send it back. Good luck to all of you.
why/how did you choose/decide the product combination?
I have been wanting that babybliss pro dryer but it is hard to find. Do you know where I can purchase it?
See... This is why I'm a lil confused. They say only use 2 pumps of conditioner per section.... She used MORE than that!
Can someone explain the purpose of using a diffuser? Natural newbie here
