I have to say the same when you get over 50 your texture changes😢 and many products may not work the same. Also you might have to use a different method of styling. Also I totally support having more influencers /models over 50 and with gray hair. Many times you don’t see this and we differently need more information. I’m so glad you talk about because it is real and everyone will go through this season in life. Continue to Keep it real and tell the story because there are A lot of curly’s who are struggling ……

Texture changes occur when hormones change. When we get older it happens and also of could grey hair - even when colored has a different texture.

But the top of my hair is super curly and the front is wavy at best making it hard to style so headbands have been my friend, loving how both of your hair turned out. Yay your hair has grown what seems like very fast to us but I’m sure it seems longer for you, it looks so healthy ❤ hope to see more of you ladies 😘

I big chopped after my wedding, literally cut it myself kind of how you did Taylor this is my second big chop. After some hair-loss and growing my hair color out my hair has flourished and thought big chop was the way to go and I love it!
Glad to see you guys! I’m about to get my haircut 💇🏻♀️ this weekend and it’s going to be 12 weeks since my last haircut and my hair isn’t growing back like it used to. I’m just going to get my haircut since it’s more convenient this time since those grays are coming in faster than ever!Getting a single process and highlights. My hair is just about shoulder length and doesn’t really grow in the length like it used to 😔. I’m in my early 50s and think it’s hormones slowing my hair growth. You both are so beautiful and relatable.
My two favorites. I big chopped in May after relaxer I kept for not even 6 months...lol. In process of growing out. Length somewhere in between both of your lengths. Grey hair areas definitely textured different. Both of you look great. Taylor your hair is growing growing. Love that length on you. Not too long or short. Perfect.

I never tried this brand but those results are bomb! I understand the feeling about doing braids, I love my curly hair but sometimes Its just more simple to sleek it all up haha. I like a middle part, I wore side part for like 15 years so I don't wanna go back to that.

It can be challenging when our hair changes without a heads-up notification first-- oh, & some new instructions too. 🙄🥴Anyhoo, changes in hormones, age or illness can change our hair density, strand thickness & pattern or texture. And let's not forget that both medication & hair dye also play a role. Thank goodness that currently there are hair products at a variety of price points which address these issues! Woo hoo. @@cheryll.g.6958 I am liking it as well but my hair does feel a little dry. I’m on day 3 it Looks great, lots of volume and hold. I love my usual routine but it takes about 4 days to get the volume I was able to get with curl mix on day 1. Thanks for your response.
