Until this came out, I didn't think anything would come close to my top two this year (knocked Loose and Charli XCX), but this album immediately leaped over them and took first place for me.
@@doctorcolossus5096 I gotta, man Listening to only one thing gets boring. You should hear the gym Playlist going from tech-death to electro-pop to prog rock to industrial hip-hop to emo to phonk to hardcore all while trying to get a pump in. It's wild
Such an incredible album from start to finish. Thanks for being the only person to stream this album in its entirety. Id love to see more channels check this band out.
Their label cleared it for me thankfully so it wasn't blocked. Most reactors don't have rapport with CM so that's why you haven't been seeing a lot of full length reactions for this
This album is pretty much perfect, I’m not sure how they pulled it off but the fusion of sounds is seamless. Need to go see them live while they’re on tour
Saw them play the entire album front to back a few weeks ago and it was one of the greatest shows I’ve ever been to. Got there early so I was able to get a spot in the front row, right up on the barrier. I was in and out of the pit all night. If you get the chance to see them you should take it, they’re even better live. I was in a trance most of the night.
For me this album is a masterpiece. A clever mix of different influences - from Morbid Angel and Death ( Sound of perseverence era ) to the trippiness of king crimson music ( Fripp,Bruford,Levin,Belew) and some tribal parts which reminds me Lucid Planet .Such a brillant musical mix which lead us to an initiatic journey through the cosmos and realm of ancient gods. Cheers
It's a misnomer about the pyramids and slaves, it wasnt built using enslaved labour. The undertaking was huge and needed skilled engineers who would usually hire labourers and volunteer's who believed they were contributing to a sacred project.
Would highly recommend checking out Morris's (the guitarist of Blood Incantation) other band he's in called Black Curse. It's a super group of dudes from the scene. Their last record Endless Wound rips. They got a new record coming out Oct 25th too! Really enjoyed the reaction btw. Blood Incantation rips
Imo I don’t love modern metal. The compression on the production makes everything sound less heavy for me (also I think there’s less verity in the genres) but this omg a what I’m looking for Here’s some recs Tomb Mold - The Enduring Spirit (Post atmospheric death) Horrendous - Ontological Mysterium (Melodic death) Imperial Triumphant - Spirit Of Ecstasy Bell Witch - Mirror Reaper (Funeral doom) Enslaved - Heimdal (Atmospheric progressive black)
Hey sinn fein are actually cool and good! and they arent exactly the group that did the car bombings, they are just somewhat related. and most of the car bombings were kinda fine too. banger album! havent heard of them before like 3 weeks ago but it definitly is in my top 3 metal albums this year! i think only chat pile and infant island are higher
actually that first part sounds pretty bad huh? i guess i am against car bombing, but they were a group that was resisting colonialism so I cant be too mad at them
In my opinion the digital version of the album doesn't do it justice everyone should experience it on vinyl cause it's a 2 song album first half is 20:20 and the other half is 23:23 without any interruptions except when you switch to side B also everyone should watch their Amoeba What's In My Bag? episode on UA-cam to get the understanding why this album and the Timewave Zero EP are the way they are
1. The indigenous peoples were brutal to each other as well. They weren’t just one group, they were MANY, and they were BRUTAL! To each other. It wasn’t one big happy family singing kumbaya. 2. EVERY piece of land was owned by somebody else at one point in time. The most recent taking of land was the americas, but there have always been brutal wars and conquerors. I love history.
I could not be more obsessed with this album. Blood Incantation has reached peak form 🤘 AOTY 2024

@@Harper_Sloane Dude you have some wild taste in music haha

This will be one of those albums you tell you kids, I was there in the beginning🤘🏼

Album of the year for me.
WOW !
Not arguing with your assessment, this is one of the best metal albums of the year for sure. Have you heard Iotunn, though?
And lets not forget Opeth’s TLWAT
New The Black Dahlia Murder album Servitude is ultimate level badass yo yeehaw!
Masterpiece

who else thinks the riff at the end of The Message sounds so black metal esque
There’s black metal written all over this album. Not just death and psychedelic prog rock. Easily my favourite record of 2024.
Love there cartoon acid trip style music videos yo yeehaw!

Morris isn't in the new black curse record tho
@gabrielegramaglia9126 oh really? Didn't realize he wasn't. Appreciate the correction, thank you
Love this band and the new album 🔥🔥🔥
These guys are jawsometastic to the max in trippiness yo yeehaw!

Tomb Mold - The Enduring Spirit (Post atmospheric death)

Imperial Triumphant - Spirit Of Ecstasy
Bell Witch - Mirror Reaper (Funeral doom)
Enslaved - Heimdal (Atmospheric progressive black)
Top contender for my personal AOTY
Definitely made my top 4 of the year. Hey seen why didnt we get a full length Nile reaction? No hate, just curious
Didn't feel super strong about it as an overall album so I didn't bother uploading
To me, The Message (Tablet II) is paying homage to one of the ultimate stoner/psych trip bands… Pink Floyd
More Eloy than Floyd

Nice cosmic metal Album but now it´s Time for the new infant annihilator EP 🤘

Allt was a miss for me Ngl. Each song was good but as an album each track was too similar
@@SeenFeen :(
Sounds like risk of rain music lol also tablet II is straight up Pink Floyd and I'm here for it.

Must listen Pink Floyd The Darkside of The Moon first before this.
