That was a very interesting video. I plan to visit Kobe when I visit Japan in late October. If it is not too much trouble, I would love a video going from Namba station to Himeji castle. Thank you for all that you do.
Hi Shiba Shiba! New subscriber here! I am making a DIY itinerary for this coming December and I would like to thank you for giving this virtual guide on the WHEREs and HOWs. My itinerary is slowly having a great shape and color :) I just wanted to ask, in this video going to Motomachi from Namba Station, can I use my IC card?
Hi! Thank you for the comment and subscribing. You can use an IC card such as SUICA and ICOCA. If you have any other questions, feel free to comment again.😊
Thank you for the video. Maybe next time, may we request that you add the amount of time it takes from one point to the end of the destination. This was very helpful, as we will visit Kobe for a day. Have a wonderful weekend
Thank you! I am glad that you gave me a valuable opinion. I will add the time from next time. In this video, it took about 50 minutes from Osaka Namba station to Motomachi Station. Osaka Namba → [23 min] → Amagasaki → [26min] → Motomachi
Hi Siba-shiba. I am visiting Japan again in a a few months time and am finding your videos really helpful especially getting from Kansai airport to Namba and visiting Kobe. I know you have already been asked but I would also like a video of how to get from Namba station to Himeji to see the castle and maybe Shoshazan Engyoji Temple. Thank You
Greeting Shiba-Shiba san. In most of your video, I saw that you were always taking the stairs to the platform, I wonder if you did so because you want to used it or there have no escalators in those stations? I asked this question because I have mobility problem and couldn't take many stairs like you did therefore I wouldn't go to Kobe or Himeji at all!
Thanks for your comment. Although in this video I use only stairs, escalators and lifts are available at major train stations in Japan. About six months ago, one of my subscribers asked me to shoot them in my videos, so since then I have been using escalators and lifts when I film videos. Regrettably, this video was made before that.
A follow-up question: Is Himeji Main Castle still under renovation? We were planning to visit but according to website, it won't reopen until next year. So we are planning to visit Arima Onsen. We will be in Japan the last week of June. Thank you
Oh, apologies. We double checked the site. Yes, it's open to visitors. So we will definitely see Himeji Castle. Thanks, we will definitely have more questions coming. Until next time
Hi Shiba Shiba May I ask you a few questions? 1) How do I get to Kobe from Tokyo? Take Tokaido Shinkansen? 2) same question but it is from Kyoto. Take Sanyo Shinkansen. I see the route map and it stops at Shin-Kobe. I am not sure if Shin-Kobe same as Kobe. I want to visit Tokyo, Kobe, Kyoto and Fukuoka next year. Should I go to Tokyo first, Kobe. Kyoto and then Fukuoka? Does this route more save time and money? Or I should start Fukuoka first, Kyoto, Kobe and Tokyo. I am flexible and would like to get some insights from you. Thanks.
