If we’re being real real here, Wendys has been the master fast food troll in the US… Some of their tweets about their rivals and even their rival’s customers are savage af
Yeah we do the monopoly thing. Turns out it was one big scam. There's a Netflix doc about it. All the big rewards were controlled by one person who gave them to friends and family. Its pretty wild
The Monopoly game at McD's started in the States and was exposed as a massive scam by the 3rd party company that ran it, there's a good UA-cam documentary on it.
I spent some time at Kandahar airfield (AFG) back in the early 2010's. We had a Burger King, Pizza Hut and a Nathan's hotdogs and some other stuff. The military guys loved it.
11:30 They do it in Canada too. It’s all done through the McD’s app, which is great compared to having to keep track with that paper monopoly board when I was a kid. But, I won a $250 gift card to a paint shop, redeemed it (even though I would never use it), and they never sent it. Only times I got anything out of it was the “Free *insert menu item* “ tiles.
This was great fun. I really have to dig into my memory. But similar story. There was a guy in Sweden with a hot dog cart called McDonald's Hot Dogs. And yeah, Mac's sued and lost that one too.
When I was a kid McDonald's was awesome. They had big play places in the restaurants with slides, ball pits, and the like. I think they started taking them out because kids started staying too long and apparently homeless people would come in the evenings and climb up the slides and try to spend the night there.
During the pandemic I was working from home for almost 2 years (1 year and 8 months). Living alone I was isolated. I used UberEats ALOT. I haven’t eaten fast food in a couple of years, so I decided to order 4 days’ worth of McDonalds. Usually Big Macs and Fries. One time I ordered Burger King and I did NOT like it. AT ALL. Went back to ‘Mickey D’s’ and never looked back. Just my personal opinion and experience.
its hungry jacks here in Australia and they brought out a burger called the "big jack" which replicated the maccas "big mac" it wasnt as good but was absolutely hilarious cos it was the biggest F U to mcdonalds 😂
Mechanic here, yeah he's kinda got a point anything german made always has pointless extra steps added into repairs for basically no reason beyond being over engineered 😅😆
We had the monopoly stickers. I believe there was a problem with them. Something shady went down with the boardwalk stickers. I think mickey Deez lost some sorta fraud case
Burger King has better burgers. McDonalds has better fries. Though they've been cheap bastards lately at least around here so buy a bottle of finely crushed salt and use that on the fries instead of the granulated nonsense.
I heard that BK was going to purchase back a lot of their franchises and resell them after remodeling. They want to improve their image. Between the two, I would pick BK Burgers over McDonalds,..However, for breakfast stuff,, the Egg McMuffin with Sausage is the perfect sandwhich.. they also have probably the best coffee in fast food.. which is saying a lot because at one time they has the worst over heated bitter coffee of anywhere.
Best coffee for burger places, McDonalds then BK and last Wendy's. Over Mickey D's is Dunkin Donuts. I am very very picky about my coffee. Starbucks is good but too expensive for coffee. My granny was born and raised on a coffee plantation, in elementary I and my siblings were having a cup with school snacks when we walked to her house from school.
@@lilyz2156 yeah.. I meant fast food, dirve through. There are othe dedicated coffee shops that have really good stuff.. I do occaionaly go to Starbucks for Mocha's and othe drinks. But their coffee, to me, has a burnt flavor that is not for me.
We never had Burger King when I was growing up, and I never knew what kids' meals toys they had. I loved when McDonalds had Hot Wheels, though. McDonalds was way cooler because it had the play place.
The funny thing about USA is we have the amount of high level athletes, but the same amount of low gravity house dwellers. It is really hard to get a pulse on what an American is like. Dave for instance, Dave would have been an amazing skater or a druggie depending on who he was with xD I would like to think Dave would be Tony Hawk UK version, I'm joking but the USA skate culture used to be so good. Now it is neutral or negative
A somewhat old guy here; I have always been turned off by either bad commercials that waste your life seeing them and negative commercials which can't contribute to an already challenging life. When I was very young Burger King ran negative commercials for years. I decided then that I would never eat there and I never have. It's been over four decades and still going. That severity applies the same to any stupid commercial that has no creativity, humor, or contribution to one's time being wasted. Think about the ridiculous salary that ad agency morons receive to come up with the crap they do. An average 6 year old can have an equally interesting commercial. Everyone should make the downside of a bad commercial more damaging to a product than a good one is beneficial then the world would have less of them.
In UK you guys talk of all the engines from around the world, trust the US engine. It works. Its easy to fix. It outlasts all international competition. If you buy a car and its not USA or Japan, you're literally ripping yourself off. I'm American and bought a Chevy Cruze personally, not my choice but okay. For trucks USA is king, for cars Japan is king. Everything else is costly or stupid. Its all about the price of fixing it, and how often it breaks down. USA and Japan are the overlords of cars.
Also, funny anecdote. Mexico has purchased Chinese cars. Wait for that deal to go the complete hell. They literally suck and you can't repair them easiy, and they have no local places. Mexico is about to pay deeply for not wanting to solve Cartel issues. Watch a gang issue become a nation wide pandemic. The government acts like they are victims.

The 1/3lb Burger was A&W fast food joints, not Burger King.
Digging your FE shirt, my man. I have the black version. :)
Stroking the carrot is crazy
Bacon King has 1200 calories, not 2100 like the guy said 😊
You two should do "the most gangster politician ever: Cassius Marcellus Clay" the fat electrician is awesome
16:54 😂😂😂 Well played Dave!
The Monopoly game at McDonald's turned out to be a huge scam in the U.S.
This was great fun. I really have to dig into my memory. But similar story. There was a guy in Sweden with a hot dog cart called McDonald's Hot Dogs. And yeah, Mac's sued and lost that one too.
I got the same shirt! Let’s Goooo. A lot of people look for a moment, then say “well, yeah, I guess”
Do you know at in Australia Burger King is Hungry Jack's because there was already takeaway food shop trademarked name Burger King.
When I was a kid McDonald's was awesome. They had big play places in the restaurants with slides, ball pits, and the like. I think they started taking them out because kids started staying too long and apparently homeless people would come in the evenings and climb up the slides and try to spend the night there.
Hi Dave! From the original OB channel. I love you mate. I love your gf! You guys are awesome. Love from USA! Keep being you.
I remember people were selling those monopoly stickers on ebay
It's my new mission in life to get my hands on one of those carrots!
Wait until you learn about Wendy's.
I haven't ate Burger de King since they stopped selling the Whopper for 99 cents.

BK seems a lot more inconsistent these days. One day it's better. The next it's horrible. At least at my location.
Ash, don't make so many that you give yourself carpal tunnel. You should sell those as pin cushions
Guys, Jolly already has Carrots part of their thing..
Gonna make a suggestion for the merch. Throw a Union Jack on the sleeve.

Uhg, I'm having trouble worth "it couldn't have 'went' any better."
You should look at the McDonalds Monopoly contest and how it was rigged by one person here in the US, and how he was caught.
Mechanic here, yeah he's kinda got a point anything german made always has pointless extra steps added into repairs for basically no reason beyond being over engineered 😅😆
C’mon. Old MacDonald had a farm was hilarious!!
My Mercedes 3.2 was indestructible.
We had the monopoly stickers. I believe there was a problem with them. Something shady went down with the boardwalk stickers. I think mickey Deez lost some sorta fraud case
I like Burger King over Mc Donalds.
Upstate NY here... One dumb guys opinion. Burger King every time. Hands down Double bacon cheeseburger... flame not whatever. BK is sooooo underrated!
I agree but I also prefer Wendy's giant bacon burger.
@@TruthIsTheNewH8 Baconator
I do like a big Carl though
Burger King has better burgers. McDonalds has better fries. Though they've been cheap bastards lately at least around here so buy a bottle of finely crushed salt and use that on the fries instead of the granulated nonsense.
I prefer the narrower carrots.
They sell Kinder in the US now.
PLEASE introduce Ash to "Food Wars"!!!!!
