@@darylbickford still a good time considering you ran Chicago a month prior, and I see New York as a much tougher run then Chicago, though when I ran Chicago it was very warm.
@@darylbickford I am running the Revel: White Mountain marathon in New Hampshire in May, most likely the Baltimore Marathon in October and I told my wide I would help pace her in Philadelphia in November. I also may do the Icebreaker marathon this month on Long Island, but if I do, I will just do it for the mileage. Good Luck in Berlin.
Why didn't you show the finish line ???? You showed the whole race but NOT the actual finish line ?????? Most NYC videos show the finish line, which is a logical conclusion to a video about the NYC Marathon. -- From a 22-times NYC Marathon finisher
Funny story. My finish line video file was corrupted. The video froze on an image but you could still hear the audio. Imagine how disappointed I was that I couldn’t show that part. :(.
@@darylbickford Thank you for telling me this was the reason. I feel better knowing it was a camera problem and not a brain problem!!! 😀🤣 You did capture the essence of the race, the excitement from the crowds.
@@darylbickford I am old - I started running it many years ago when it was not quite as hard to get into as it is now. Now I get lifetime Guaranteed Entry because I have done it 15 times or more. That lifetime guaranteed entry is my second-most treasured possession, right after my Frank Sinatra record collection. 😀
Currently in New York there are hundreds of placards posted everywhere encouraging people to get vaccinated. We know that without covid-19 vaccines the New York Marathon wouldn't be able to take place. I support Trans, Blacks and Indigenous people to take them. Nothing to do with politics.
Congratulations on a great race, awesome footage, and a beautiful medal!
Appreciate it. The NYC spectators had their own vibe!!!
Nice video! Great job on the race what a blast it was!
Thank you. What’s next for you ?
@@darylbickford Going to rest for now with no big races planned but put my name in for the NYC Half lottery
Such an insane day!! Stoked to see other people having fun with it 😝
I kinda want to try it again. !!!
This video brought back some memories. You had a blast!
I had so much fun! NYC Marathon was a vibe!!!
@@darylbickford I ran the 50th in 2021. I thought it would be first and last I would run it. I am starting to reconsider…
@@yuthemanAt some point I’ll consider this race again. I put my name in for Berlin so fingers crossed for that!
I wish I was able to take footage of my run, I enjoy watching everyone's videos. Congrats on your finish.
Thank you! I honestly wish I had taken time to film a little bit more than I did! I was struggling near the end!l 🤣

@@RichRuns909 Appreciate it. What’s next for you? I have London in April. I tried for Berlin but no luck this year.

Also, 22 times!!. That’s amazing. This was most likely my only time running the NYC marathon. I was lucky enough to get in via the lottery.

Thank you for supporting LGBT and Trans Black and Indigenous people. Recommend regular vaccines to protect others.
Don't make our marathon political - it is a beautiful running race, not a political statement.
