Breaks my heart , that so many historical buildings, are in such disrepair, wish someone would renovate them, then rent them out maybe, really love your videos!
Good job! Like how you showcased Redstone, Marble and the Crystal Mill. Such a fun area. We like that campground because you can walk into town for a nice stroll. We stayed at side 31 one week after you did. When we go back, last weekend of the season, we will be on site 8. I’m glad you showed it :). Funny story, we were there last year, first weekend in Oct, with reservation on section 2, but they (someone) had decided to close out that entire section 5 days early! Gate was up and the host was left to figure out places at the section 1 for those who had reservations. I made sure to reserve on 1 this time.....just in case.
We had fun exploring the area. The coke ovens were the only thing we had seen before (while driving by). That's crazy that they would close down a section when you had reservations. Next week's video is Bogan Flats on the road to Marble. There are a bunch of campsites right on the Crystal River. I think it is my favorite campground in the area because of that.
Does anyone know if you can walk right to the river/creek from the campsites? Thanks. PS We love Campground Recon! Thank you for your great contributions.

Love your tent rig on top of your truck. I would have been all over that back in our tent camping days.

You can walk across the road to the river from the campground entrance.
How could anywhere be possibly more beautiful than Colorado?
