Thanks for this tour. I wish your camera could have panned left and right, what a teaser for my site. Looks like a nicely wooded area though, we are now booked.
Its nice to see that there are plenty of trees still. The area has been decimated by pine beetles so I'm glad to see that they haven't had to clear cut this campground
Have stayed in Summit County but never at Heaton Bay cg. When you post these videos have you just camped there or are these videos before the pandemic? I’m just interested because we’re trying to decide on where to go and stay in August. Obviously we want a few options. Thanks for the videos man. Top notch info always!
Enjoy your videos , just wondering if you've considered panning around as you go or having multiple views instead of relying solely on the dash cam? I would be much more informative overall. Thanks
This is something we haven't been real consistent with. On some videos, we include a picture-in-picture side view of some sites. In others, we try to pull into several of the unoccupied sites to give an idea of what the area looks like. Thanks for the feedback!
Thanks for this video you guys! I booked a tent site here thinking it would be fine for both of our rigs because it showed 2 parking spots but this video showed me that was not the case. I was able to modify my reservation and get a site that would accommodate both rigs. Thanks for saving me the stress and shock when I showed up 😉 keep up the videos they are so helpful and thanks again
Any views of the water from the campsites?
A few sites are pretty close. Here's a link to the map of the campground: cdn.recreation.gov/webphotos/facilitymaps/70499_HEA1.pdf

Great videos man! Thanks a lot!
Glad you like them!
Another great video! Grateful for all the work y’all have put into these.
Thank you!
Great campground info on the area. Love that you drove around to get a glimpse of the specific camp site. Thanks for sharing!
Color Mile-hi Glad you enjoyed it!
Heaton Bay is always our favorite camping trip of the year. Thanks for the video, I'm sure I will review it when making reservations.
Lots of great campsites at Heaton Bay

This one has the most shade at Dillon Reservoir. It was a nice change compared to what we have visited in the past.

This video was recorded in mid June of this year.
Where and what area did park at the very end of the video?
Color Mile-hi I think it was Giberson Bay day use area. Headed towards Frisco from the campground.
@@CampgroundRecon Thank you!
