Donna, I can’t get enough of your tutorials. You’re an awesome teacher. I’m an old seamstress but fairly new to quilts. I just love all the new pattern. Thank you so much and may God Bless you, Matt and your business.
My Mom used to make those for my daughters when they were little. They loved them and looked adorable, just like you sweet, cute model! How fun!
So happy you posted this again. I haven't made any clothes for 26 years, but I think I can tackle this adorable jumper for my youngest granddaughter.
Can't wait!
I don’t see the pattern
I love to sew and did long time ago when I was a kid.. love to start sewing again and do more nice dresses like that for tiny tots! Thanks for your tutorials!! Really appreciate the simplest way you demonstrate :)
Such a fun change from piecing!...and what a cute dress.
Absolutely the best toddler dress pattern with great video tutorial! I added pockets and snaps, was done in no time at all. Since I don't have a serger I used my Singer without any problem, Thank you Donna for your great tutorials!
can i just say this is one of the clearest and nicest video I've seen about simple sewing. As a very inexperienced sewer i appreciate you guys a lot!
I am making one each for my granddaughters 😊
Thanks so much for the tip on tying old thread to new thread to re-thread the machine! It was so helpful!
I made my clothes in high school, my wedding dress and veil and sewed my daughters clothes when they were young. Thank you for this tutorial. Enjoyed it. Brought back memories.
Jo Ann Golis .you are naturally talented . I can not make stitch if my life depend on it I can not saw a batten .i Stuart reading at 3 it was enough I read the Pom once and recite from memory , my mother was such Artist would take Fabric and drown on it and make the most beautiful table cloth or sham I frame few of her work if she was invited and she did want the new dress cut and sawing was 2 hours and she has new dress .It was amazing I could not do the ham of my pants
Thank you 😊
I watch so many of these videos, and still I can't sew properly. I try to make changes, and end up with a top where the shoulders don't meet, and a fine skirt waiting patiently for it. You sound professional to me. I mean, a wedding dress!
Now, that brought back a lot of sweet memories of my sewing for my 4 girls in preparation for Easter and SPRING. Actually I don't remeber all the different patterns I used, but I do remember sewing well into the morning hours because I wanted the dress to be a Surprise for them. I would go to the Local fabric store and buy rements and make beautiful little dresses. Now I wish I had someone to sewfor....maybe someday...Thank_You for y ride down Memory Lane.
I made these for my 3 granddaughters when they were growing up over 20 years ago. Now want to make some for my great granddaughter. This is a great refresher for me. Thank you.
Donna I love your tutorials!! I made one of these today for my granddaughter, its easy and turned out so cute. Thank you so much for all your patterns and ideas!
The dress is soo cute on her. Love it.
Too cute - the dresses and the model! Thank you, Donna ...
I can’t wait to make a few of these for my beautiful granddaughter. Thank you.
Amazing little dress, I will make this one day when I have a daughter! Thanks for sharing your technique, love your video!
Thank you for this easy to follow tutorial. I'm an experienced seamstress but am sharing this with my daughter-in-law who is just learning and has a 4 year old daughter. This simple pattern will certainly build her confidence!
Beautiful. So easy to follow. You son does a fantastic job of the video. Makes it a pleasure to watch your videos.
Awww my goodness! The cuteness of it all !
I love this! Started making dresses for my great grand daughter- This pattern is so simple but I can envision it in corduroy, cottons, lace--just about anything! Thank you
Where did you find the pattern for this jumper dress?
@@jackienash9287 it’s on their website, click on free patterns 👍🏻
Thank you Donna,,,,it's been tons of years since I made little girls dresses......brought back nice memories.. you are an awesome teacher. I really enjoy your tutorials..... the best to you and Matt. Lou 🌹💐😍🎀💞🌸🇺🇸
Made one earlier for my daughter. So easy to follow and I love it! Thank you!
I just got my very first great granddaughter and I am so excited to make this dress for her. Love, love love your tutorials. I've learned so much.
Hi Donna, I learned how to sew on my mother’s industrial machine. Wish I had kept hers. I moved from south Florida to Ocala Florida.
We were down sizing so I didn’t have the extra room. I sewed all my clothes in the 50s and my kids clothes, and wedding dresses too. Then I started quilting in the 80s. I use my feather weight and my old Kenmore. I have made clothes for my grands and great grands, and have taught them to sew.. I loved watching you make the dress.i wish they still taught home economics in school. Thanks for making my interest alive. I love seeing you and hubby working together.
Hi Donna and Matt, I love watching all your videos and watching your work space too! Keep them up!
I LOVE the material on your ironing mat!! I need to make a new one, who's print is that?
Adorable, and a sweet departure from your usual videos but with the usual high quality teaching- THANKS!
love the pattern thank you so much you explain things so well .......
With 2 granddaughters, 1 and 5, this is perfect....I'm already thinking of using some "what was I thinking when I bought this quilt fabric" material. Now, if you could just come up with something for my 2 grandsons, ages 7 and 8! lol....thank you so much, Donna.
Hi Donna, I enjoyed your tutorial of making the little girls dresses. I used to make my son and daughter clothes when they were small. On my Elna computerized serger which I sold once they grew up. It brought back fond memories. I used to make matching sunsuits for my self and my daughter and coveralls with a lining in corduroy for my son when he was a baby. Thanks again.
Enjoyed your video on the little jumper dress immensely. Loved the way you executed the sewing on it, will definitely be making several of these. You teach well and explain perfectly. Thank you soooo much!!!
Oh thanks for sewing with a serger. I am just starting to use mine and now see how much easier it is using a serger.
Love it. My sixteen years old grandson (my only one♥️) has now an eighteen month old cutest little sister, we're all getting together this weekend and I'm going to make her this jumper! Thank you Donna for the pattern ♥️
This tutorial is excellent. I made two of these for my granddaughter. Donna you are a wonderful teacher.
I used this tutorial to make a dress yesterday. So easy to follow. Looks great. I watch all of your quilting videos as well.
This is by far one of the BEST tutorials I have watched! So CLEAR, to the point and so much more!! I can't wait to make this dress!!! Thank you!
I have made this dress several times for my girls. They love it and it is such a quick sew!
Love that little girls dress, fits just perfect thank you for sharing, God Bless
Thankyou for this tutorial, all of your tutorials are fantastic xx
Love this! So fun to do something that isn't flat to mix it up. Thanks for such a great tutorial.

Tank you Donna. It´s so beautiful! Love all your tutorials.
Makes me wish my grand daughters were still small. This is a very cute and easy jumper!
These dresses are adorable!
I absolutely love that material and the way the dress turned out thank you so much for all of your knowledge! You made it look so easy.
Thank you for this tutorial. My first attempt was with some knit fabric I had laying around. Wanted to first make sure it would fit my 6 year old little girl. It turned out great so I made another one out of cotton. I did lengthen the bodice pattern for the second jumper.
Thank you for the lesson! The dresses are so beautiful!
Yippeeeee, Im so pleased to see dressmaking on this channel. I love this little dress. I have 2 beautiful little baby nieces that would love one of these dresses made for them. Thanks so much for sharing this great tutorial. Lee xx

Nice tutorial! I sew dresses for charity, and I think I will add this pattern style to my collection.
Donna. You are a blessing.
You are such a wonderful instructor. I love the sweetest jumper, the design is fabulous and those colors in the materials are to die for!
Thank you for the pattern. I don't have a surger but I made the dress on my sewing machine, just had to finish the seams with zig zag and a little bias tape around the waist seam. It looks beautiful 😍 x
I was looking for a comment that offered what to do because I don't have a serger. Thank you!
Where did you find the pattern?
Great tutorial making the dress in such a straight forward way and using the serger to create that lovely neat finish. Would love to make this dress too and shall search for similar and line the top just as you demonstrated. Thanks a bunch!
Thank you for this video, I have just a little girl in mind, my grandaughter who lives in Canada. I wished I lived near your shop so many fabrics to choose from and all are fantastic. I would be in there everyday! Your tutorials are clear and understandable so thank you again.
WOW! I could only wish to sew so quickly and perfectly! Amazing!
Love this easy outfit! Tell Matt his ironing mats look so lovely and bright as you are using them. Ideas for boys needed, got a new grandson due in Dec. Keep on sewing and spreading the joy!
I have a really cute shorts pattern for boys or girls that I will share soon.
Genius!!! I love watching your videos, you are so easy to follow you explain every step so clearly. Now all I have to do is buy myself a Serger :) I am so going to make this little dress. Wonderful. Thank you for the Pattern.
Super cute! I might even try the buttons in the back instead. Thank you so much for offering the free pattern and such a thorough tutorial.
Thank you for this dress. ...it's so beautiful. ..
Donna, I am really enjoying your videos! They show me how simply things go together which empowers me to try things that had seemed a bit daunting. I am trying not to watch too many at a time since I will be disappointed to catch up to your newest ones and not have a supply of them to choose from!! I have watched this one more than once as I made my grandniece (my sister's granddaughter) a very cute jumper! Thanks for all the free patterns and awesome videos. I was disapointed to learn how close I was to your shop in April when we stayed in Grants Pass, but it was before I'd learned of Jordon Fabrics! We are in Portland so the next time we're in Southern Oregon I hope to stop in. Again, thanks so much for the awesome videos and free patterns!
THANK-YOU easy and so cute
Maureen Sommerfelt cute and easy. Wonder if there is sizing for grown up little girls. 😊
Great job, I love this dress, it so cute! Thank you!
17:54 Wow! My machine actually came with that ruffle foot! I’ve made quite a few ruffled dresses and have always gathered them. I’ll definitely be trying out this technique! Thanks so much for sharing!
Oh my goodness! This is such a good tut! I just made my daughter a dress for the first time and the directions were so complex.... for me anyway:)
Lovely! Both your demonstration and instructions are so clear and easy to follow. Thank you! I'll be making this dress for my granddaughter this weekend :)
I just made this today in a size one for my very little granddaughter. It came out great, and your instructions were spot on! I don’t have a gathering foot, but I was able to gather easily using my serger. Thank you so much, and keep them coming!
I love this dress, thank you for such a brilliant video. I have wanted to make a dress for my granddaughter only two for a while , now I feel I can. Again, thank you so much. Here we go. 👍🏻
The dress is adorable, the little girl is beautiful! 💞
Oh, well done. You actually sew! As a person who hasn’t sewn in decades this is really great instruction. Thank you. Love your model ❤️.
Absolutely beautiful!
This is such a sweet dress and a great tutorial. I love the fabric you used too
This is very cute , always use scissors to cut out dress patterns.Serger is a godsend for dressmaking.😘👗👗
Love this dress. It's very nice tutorial👍
I just found this video. I've never seen a serger in action, so this was great. What an adorable dress!
Oh my goodness!! Super cute!
Iove it!!
OMG, Donna, those are the cutest. I was wondering last week if you made your own clothing, I've been watching your tuts for about a year and noticed you don't wear the same outfit twice. I especially like the light blue long flowy dress you've worn. Right now I can't remember if it was floral or geometrics.
Thank you and Matt very much for your great tutorials. May God continue to bless you

The best example tutorial I have ever seen from UA-cam.

I made a couple of 4 year old dresses today. I did raise the armhole a bit. Thank you so much for the pattern. Thank you also for all the quilting videos.
So cuuuuuute! Nice colors and prints
It's wonderful! Very pretty. Thank you for showing us how to make this pretty dress. 😍
Brilliant tutorial, I finished my own jumper dress today and it looks adorable. I've done pleated ruffle since I don't have a gathering foot and the basting stitch didn't work on my fabric. It worked just fine. Thank you so much for sharing the pattern and instructions.
Beautiful

Hi! I love this jumper dress! I've made three so far! Please post more clothing tutorials.
Hi, I just asked a question, but as you have made 3 - does it really go on easily without buttonholes?
That looks so easy to sew together thank you so much for sharing this little dress I totally love it! ❤️❤️😃
Where did you say that pattern can be found? Super cute!
Love love this dress!
Thanks Donna , your tutorials are so good and easy to follow
Beautiful dress 👗 shame my baby girl is 17 in a couple of weeks, she would have loved these as a young girl.
Dang, she must be like 20 years old now.
How time flies...
Wonderful video! I've never sewn clothes, only quilts, so this video is so very helpful!! Thanks so much for the free pattern too! Just wondering how to make the pattern for older girls?
That was amazing! I'm not a super-sewer by any means (straight lines are good for me!), but I feel like I could follow this tutorial. Thank you for sharing!
You have to be the sweeties quilter/sewer on UA-cam. Hope to see you this fall at the Houston International Quilt Festival. Hugs from Houston.
This has helped me so much thank you. I’d love to know how to have made the dress reversible
Where can I find the pattern
It’s on the Jordan Fabric website under free patterns
2024: I can not find this pattern. Sent you an email.
I would like to have this pattern in a plus size.
I can’t find it either 😢
Love that fabric!
