This is exactly what I needed! I’ve done a lining before, but it’s been a while. I have a pattern for a dress, but it felt like it needed a lining added to it based on the type of fabric I was using.

Try sewing 2 rows close together but not touching. Some people sew 3 rows for gathers. The larger stitch length the better.
