I just couldn’t think how I could do the back as there was nothing to make it with so this fits the bill perfectly. Thank you so much.

We’re in Spring here in Australia and I’m thinking I can make this beautiful dress for my granddaughter, ready for summer. I’m a quilter, but think this looks easy enough 🤞🏻 I’ve purchased the pattern and will use your fantastic tutorial to guide me. Thank you!
Update: I did it! My four year old granddaughter loves it, won’t take it off, despite the weather not being ideal 😂 I’ll make another couple and keep them until summer arrives… Thanks again, your tutorial was fantastic!
Your instructions are great!!!! My only struggle was the cutting and I reached out to friends for help with that (which lead all of them asking about your videos and they said they will watch too. ) My dress is finished and great but had a problem with the cutting. I understand you cannot show the company pattern but perhaps if you can speak about the cutting and any problems that might be for a new sewer. Maybe you can sketch a pattern and then explain the cutting. I see someone else asked for the same help. Everything else is great!!!!! Keep making more videos as I intend to make more dresses that you video. Thank you!!!!

You should have Two skirt pieces. Put right sides together and sew at the two side seams to attach. Then make two gatherings stitches at the top. Right sides together to attach the skirt to the bodice

I’ve searched aggressively to find the tutorial that, according to your video it gives this information. However, I’ve been unsuccessful in finding that tutorial. I have the pattern and I’m ready to cut the fabric but I am unable to get the exact measurements for the casing and elastic. Could you assist a fellow sewist? Hello! You will need to follow the cutting cart for the elastic length. Not sure what page it’s on but they have the different lengths for each size there. Depending on what size dress you are making it will also tell you how much to measure to make your casing
Nope! Any pattern with a skirt. I don’t know if I’m cutting or sewing it together wrong but it never fits around my daughters waist. I find your videos to be the most helpful that I’ve seen!
