What can be done to help correct hammertoe? I have the second type
I have a variety
I see that a lot as well. It is not uncommon.
Both of my second toes have just the end bone going at a 45 degree angle toward the middle toe. No other family member has this. Is this genetic or a hammer toe? And what can be done to correct them? BTW, my pinky toes are twisted as you mentioned.
When unusual anatomy occurs in BOTH feet I start thinking genetics as a contributing cause. You can talk to a podiatrist about straightening the toes if they really bother you. Thanks for your comment.
